WHAT IF IN THIS VERSION, THE CRACKS IN TIME WERE A RESULT OF TENNANT CONSTANTLY NOT CHANGING HIS APPEARANCE PROPERLY! (The "partial" regenerations)
I love this theory..
There's also another theory that blew my mind recently.
The theory states that, after Ten lost his hand on Christmas day in the sword fight against the Sycorax leader, and he regrew a hand, and this hand he grew.. well, this was actually 11s hand 👀

I’m glad he didn’t. It was the right time and well I prefer Matt anyway
They should have Tennant return as the next Doctor Who. It wouldn't be out of character with the show as the museum caretaker (Tom Baker) was a previous incarnation and a future incarnation of the Doctor.

David Tennant did say he wanted to continue and I think he should of
He changed his mind at the last minute, he left at the perfect time. Series 5 was brilliant!
New showrunner works better with a new doctor
Great job but it wouldn't be a DT story. This is a regeneration story and the best regeneration episode by any Doctor to date. It was time for DT to go and MS more than filled his shoes. They brought much different qualities to the roll but MS speeches were awesome!
Steven Moffat actually had an idea for this had Tennant stayed on. Moffat was writing this episode before Tennant had confirmed whether o or not he was leaving, and Moffat wrote the story around the concept that the 10th Doctor would land in Amelia's garden battered and broken, injured and dying. He would then leave and the 10th Doctor would meet a grown up Amy in the house but it would be before the 10th Doctor was injured and almost dying (from the 10th doctors point of view). The series would have ended with the 10th Docor regenerating into the 11th. The idea was partially reused in The Impossible Astronaut/The Day of the Moon

@@jagswinjagswin I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. I think the best first stories belong to 2, 3, 4, and 9 (and 1 if you only include part 1). The others are all pretty bad (8 and 5 are only middling).

This is AMAZING... the only part that hurts is how much of it is angry/Oncoming Storm Ten. I'd love more silly/compassionate/adorably arrogant ("I'd call you a genius except I'm in the room") Ten.
If David Tennant actually stayed on for the next few years then he would have equaled or beaten Tom Baker's run as the Doctor and he lasted 8 years (1974-198), David Tennant lasted 5 and with that he would have equaled Bakers on the 50th Aniversary
Look who has a new subscriber. I know since it never happened there are some tweaks like for instance the TARDIS blew up because of regeneration so that would've never happened. But honestly it is brilliant and fantastic! You are one of the few people who has little subscribers but great content. I love you Scotland and I love you all who is reading this

In my head, I thought, "in the End of Time Part 2 the Doctor is regenerating" so I thought I'd have to keep that in. I like to think that he found some way to remain as his current self (David Tennant) - maybe poured hi regeneration energy into the console itself? And then events continued like normal in the Eleventh Hour, just with Tennant as the Doctor :)

@@lecion2233 Before 12th doctor the doctor 10th used regeneration on his hand and then the 11th used regeneration on the River so he has regenerated 14 times before the 12th doctor
@@Isaac_Clarke I always thought he was absorbing the genetic code of his hand (still Tennant hand) and then used that genetic code of Tennant to keep his face the same, so he didn't become Smith then and there.
In this universe (the trailer), Matt Smith doesn't exist yet.
But that's just my theory 😊

After episode it was. 8, WAR Doctor, 9...
Bcs of that 10 become 11
11 become 12 and more

In my head, the Tenth Doctor regenerated back into his Tenth self, but used up his next incarnation in the process (similar to in stolen earth/journey's end) making this his Eleventh incarnation.
That was my thought process, but it's really up to the audience speculation and theories 😊
