I'm not a fan of the way things are heading with curved screens and curved corners on displays and finger scanners on the back.
This P10 is perfect almost. All I'd say is I think Huawei have got it wrong with the gestures on the finger scanner. It should be tap to go back to home screen, hold down to open up open/running apps draw and swipe on the scanner to go back to previous page. Would feel more natural this way.

Ryan Mcqueen same here not a fan of curved screen .they just decreased the real usability of screen and difficult to hold , plus more chance of screen crack if it falls off the hand

On the top of the phone it doesn't have an ir blaster. Its just a noise cancallation sensor. Only P10 plus has the ir blaster.

How did you manage to get the phone so soon....just after launch :)
With a note 4 and moving to a Mate 9, the whole camera processor improvements have levelled off. There is nothing that's revolutionary these days. Now it's about minor changes, wrap around screen, gestures, connectivity and nice shiny colours whilst charging a premium. My old S3 takes stunning photos and 1080p video. 5 years later we have OIS but not for 4k... Five years later.
Id like to see more about the video stabilization!

Those home button gestures are a fucking wreck. They should've just left the fingerprint scanner at the back and kept the on-screen navigation buttons. The setting to bring them back is nice, but the overall intended design behind the home button is just ridiculous.

nice design but the black stripe bezel somehow decrease the aesthetic of the phone , if its thin its okay for the visual but it looks quiet thick compared to other flagship with white color.

I love Huawei, wouldn't trade my P9 for anything! ☺💜 But I'm a bit dissapointed by the looks of this one, like something in between an iPhone and Samsung...that home button wasn't necessary at all...my opinion 😌

I felt a bit upset with this phone. Considering this 2017, 5.1" screen is actually really not reliable. Yeah I know we've got the plus version but hey, the plus version also could get a bit larger like how the Samsung does with the S8 and the S8 Plus. I hope Huawei won't make any flops like this again.
Muhamad Hakimi sorry man but i believe the majority of people prefer to use smaller phones. Ive barely seen anyone here in my place with 5'5 screen or bigger phones.

TBH i was waiting out for the p10+ to make up my mind between that or the mate 9 pro. but whats that god awful fingerprint gesture.. couldn't they just give us the normal back and apps keys. such a shame such a deal breaker.

looks like a down grade in design. very small bezels or no bezel and edge screen is the future. for example LG G6 and Galaxy S8 and Xiaomi Mi Mix.
even Huawei Mate 9 looks better then P10
Agree with that. I liked the P9 but the lack of OIS and F2.2 lens stopped me from buying. Now that this has been fixed, they move the freakin fingerprint sensor from the backside (which i found great in use) and add those humongous bezels...and still including those f***** black bars around the display. Disapointed.

dont like the design this time. it just look like another twin of vivo and oppo. the P9 design way more better with back fingerprint scanner. the camera gab way off and look awkward.
Huawei designer: Let's put the fingerprint sensor on the front, and miss the opportunity of having capacitive keys next to it... Just one thing leave the rest unused, we must copy Apple. We also need to keep those cheapo-looking black borders on the screen...
Huawei, what have you done to P9's beautiful design! Now this one looks like a cheap iPhone 7 rip-off. I wouldn't mind the placement of the fingerprint scanner, since I have OP3T and I've got already used to it, but what the actual f*** with those rounded corners and that stupid iPhone-7-like antenna design!!!!! If it looked exactly like P9 then I would have instantly liked it, but with this look... Well, I don't really feel like getting one, to be honest.

MrFalcon2001 the price is fine if i compare it to s7 which costs 30$ less ffs so i'm thinking about this one or g6 still can't decide...
MrFalcon2001 they have 30$ difference but p10 comes with 64gb internal while g6 comes with 32gb and with g6 i have to use case with this one not but also this one doesn't show anything new over p9 except its smaller and few better specs but no variety over the older version
the only thing I dislike about the design of these phones is the picture of a trashcan on the back! I'm not going to put my phone in the trash, Huawei but thanks for anyway.

i find the home button really useful, especially it's so good that fingerprint sensor is now on the front side. That makes certainly much more easier to use it rather than the old models, which has this sensor on the back side.. When u see other videos of Huawei P10, u can see that, it not so complicated to use the button like in video. This guy is just awkward to use the home button.
And for my part i can say that i find the Huawei's android OS and UIs re always better than Samsung's OS.
