Yep, I took the metro so many times down to the city.
I would say Gibraltar. It’s easier to recreate without hitting the game mechanic limits and thus allows greater detailing.

I watched tr full of Boston video and having lived here most of my life I gotta say everything is exact. The streets, locations of buildings like the skyline and the area around fenway. Incredible

Inspirational! The levels of creativity, ingenuity and skill on display is outstanding- not to mention the patience and dedication spending endless hours on this labours of love. Colossal Order could Neve have imagined what a gift the gave the city building community back when Skylines first launched in March 2015. The game has been transformed by the 'WISDOM OF THE CROWD". Hundreds of thousands of hours in combined efforts from around the world have resulted in the ability of serious fans to create work of this level. I love this game for the endless hours of fun and frustration it has provided over the past 7 years. I play this game almost to the exclusion of everything else, nothing comes close for me- although I have recently bought Transport Fever in a heavily discounted sale... The recent release of the Airports DLC has certainly kicked any chance of CS2 arriving soon into the long grass. My hunch is that CS2 WILL finally be unveiled and released in March 2025- the 10th Anniversary of the original base game's release.That date has a certain symmetry about it. I'm almost certain I'll be proved correct. Thanks for posting this great showcase of just some of the talented RUclipsrs.

I live In Hyougo-ken, the prefecture of which Kobe is the capital. Once I showed some of my colleagues at work a clip of Maya, and they all couldn't understand why I was showing them some Google Earth stuff - until a bridge suddenly moved as Palm's Time started to a use MoveIt! on it, that is!

You may also consider to include in the list "Isla Ivatan by Shredra Gaming" this is the recreation of Mega Metro Manila, Philippines.. The assets are mostly accurate like the cars, Malls, Signages, etc. that can only see in PH is in the asset pack of Isla Ivatan

I'm currently working on a Glasgow City Recreation, in CS1 on console :) Obvs nowhere near the skill that goes in to PC builds but for a vanilla build i think its going really well :)
I attempted a 1:1 of my hometown, cochabamba in Bolivia. Due to uni I had paused and haven't gone back to it, yet.
I started to do Mpls/St Paul. started with infrastructure and roads. About halfway through (and hours of work) I reached a road limit i was unaware of. :(
Seattle made me twitch. There's literally a Space Needle asset on the steam workshop and the placeholder reminded me more of Toronto.

Number 7, Pres' Columbia City is not a real life recreation of Seattle. It's a fictional city loosely based on Seattle, Vancouver and other pacific northwest cities.

I am not build Split but i am doing Zagreb ( i call it Agram ) but was thinking of going for a sea side town at some point and Split is not bad idea!
@@ZGreenGaming Please don't rename Zagreb,he already have riddiculous name,that comes from words Zagrebati-To scrach,and Zagrabiti-To scoop water with bucket.Split is smaller,and also have a lot of intresting history.When you begun building Split,then conect Kastela,Solin,and Zrnovnica to one city.Then make residental buildings 5 floors high,and shopping malls 7 floors high.Best shopping malls in Split are Dobri,Prima 3,Dalma,Koteks.Food shopps is Prehrana,and eatery similar to McDonald's is Bobis,that is on 100 locations,serves coffee,pipi,and donuts.And famous hotels are Hotel Marjan,and Hotel Lav in duilovo.Historical icon of Split is Dioklecianova Palaca,so make Dioklecianova Palaca the way how it once was.Split is average town,but it desperately needs parking buildings for cars,more parks,bridge to conect with kastela,and garbage recicyling.Also Kastela once was agricultural area for fruits and vagetables from greenhouse,so make that.In 1978 best projects in Split were build during Mediteranske Igre,search Slobodna Dalmacija news about Mediteranske Igre,and you will se how much was build then.Split was liberated by partisans in 1943,so buil few smaller monuments all over town,and one big monument of liberty on top of hill Marjan.Once Marjan was place for feild workers,so hill Marjan is full with olive trees,pine trees,cypress trees,and agavas.At one point Marjan has haved Zoo,and Botanic garden,and it desperately needs bikeing roads,recreation area,swiming beaches,car free zone,rental rooms for tourists,and place for public performances.So,are you willing?
@Slaven Arkaimovski thx for this extensive comment mate! i only gave it different name as my build will not only be 1to1 especially as i had issues with making my overlay map to more closely follow the roads and i was eyeballing stuff ... also i won't do everything exactly as it is in real life but will add my own stuff and maybe even change some to fit what i like too :-) so it wouldn't be correct calling it Zagreb if it isn't a ture full 1to1
@@ZGreenGaming Who can make 1 to 1 city scale?I remember Los Santos from GTA 5 being make in cities skylines,you can still find video on youtube.But when it comes to city split,its a city with only 150000 people,so it just may fit to all 81 tile,even as an island.Then again why wouldn't you conect Splitsko Dalmatinska Zupanija,with Dubrovacko Neretvanska Zupanija into one unique island.

Hold up!!! I did not see the John Hancock building in Chicago!!!! How dare. I lived down town there for 15 years. I ate lunch on top floor of that build. It had the fastest elevators in the world fo more than 50years. And you don't include it?!?! Shame shame shame.

The detailing in these are pretty amazing. It would be unfair to say that they lack creativity. In fact I'd say they are very creative actually
Not just my build but all the builds, the creativity with asset combination and procedural objects is honestly a huge amount of creativity and work:) it’s very difficult to actually replicate the real world with the limited resources they have:) every project wether a copy or a unique one have a lot of great work out into them 🙏🏻
