The best and fresh Chinese food in the world in Mexicali, Mexico, next to the Big Flag /🇲🇽 thur El Centro, California. Mexican food is so incredible with flavors of Mexico and ❤ 🇲🇽 . 👁🌮 will stare you down.
That is correct!
I traveled through Mexicali a few times back in the 90’s, watching this video gave me the itch to go back and visit all these yummy spots, great video!!.
Couldn’t believe how good everything was 👌👌👌
I've seen many RUclipsrs attend these places and interview the owner of the museo del valle( whom btw is a very humble man),by far you've been the only one showing us more than meets the eye. Plus now I know more places to visit here. You're amazing gracias!
I appreciate you!! 🙏🙏🙏
We love Mexicali and go there often. We met Freddie
and Kenia from Malbicho/La Chinesca cervezaria. They have shown us some gems and we've found some on our own.
When you go back Mexi-papa you need to try the flautas & the tortas de pavo. Best combination. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hell yeah I’m going on Friday I live in El Centro but have a house in Mexicali love Chicali
I keep telling people Mexicali has the best Chinese food no one believed me !

Karate is not Chinese, it’s a Japanese martial art. BTW, that lady is wrong. Chuck Norris was never Bruce Lee’s student. Chuck Norris was a world class Karate middleweight champion. Bruce Lee’s martial arts was Chinese Kung Fu that later morphed into Jeet Kune Do. Both might’ve taught each other their style of fighting, but never as master and pupil. That sword she picked for you to handle is a Japanese Katana sword. Japanese sword is curved, Chinese Jian sword is straight. Having said that, the Japanese Katana sword has been decorated in Chinese style. I should be the tour guide there.
BTW, the food you feature was awesome. Well done…
I have seen scenes where Bruce Lee is teaching Chuck Norris , you should ask Norris who was the boss. In Mexicali surged a mixed of martial arts by Carlos. VAlencia is called Ko Fu Ja Do includes martial arts of different cultures, in the 70s in Mexicali fluorished a lot of martial arts schools. You should come to Mexicali to know more about it.
@@octuveryckazt2788 Show me those scenes. The proof is in the pudding. Ask Norris who was the boss, lol. Stop it dude, lol. First, let’s be realistic here. Chuck Norris was an Air Force MP stationed in Korea. During those racists times, no white airman was going to say a Chinese actor and former Cha-Cha dancer (which he was) was his boss, lol. Come on, bruh. Be logical, man. Besides, Chuck Norris was already a world champion when him and Bruce met. Now I'm not saying Bruce didn't give him pointers that helped Norris, but "Taught" him is a huge stretch. I’m not disputing that a mixtures of martial arts were taught there, but if you paid enough attention, my gripe was about that tour guide having no clue what she’s talking about. And no disputing here, that sword is a Japanese Katakana, not a Chinese Jian sword. I visited Mexicali during one Summer, bruh, too friggin hot for me. I prefer Ensenada. Soy mexicano-americano. Sorry, I’m no impresionable kid or fanboy who relies on pure hearsay and urban legend. I’m all about logic over faith. Trust me, I always do my research before posting anything in public. Anyway, that’s all I’m going to post on the matter. I gotta move on. Planning another trip to Japan soon, my favorite country in the world (también me gusta México). Soy mexicano casado con una japonesa. Dos hijos, mis cacahuates japoneses, ja, ja. Gusto en conocerte. No vemos, amiguito.

others eat. Really wish
I could do that for a
living.
❤️❤️❤️🇵🇷🇵🇷
Thank you for all the love & support!!
Mexicali tacos have to be eaten with flour tortillas. That’s the difference between Mexicali and everyone else. If you want corn tortillas, go to Tijuana.
Almost always flour tortillas, as far as I know, and sometimes that the ladies make in the place. My favorite place is Octolan on av. Universario. Is it still open 24 hours, I wonder? I moved to Central Mexico in 2012. My favorite Chinese Restaurant is Rincon de Ponchitos on Justo Sierra across from Hippie Park or his sister's restaurant, also on Justo Sierra, China House.
This is your best video yet. Loved every minute of it.
I agree it came out 👌👌👌
My dad grew up here in the 60s and new Mexicali like the back of his hand. When I was young he used to take me to La diezinueve which is basically alley 19 for chinese food. Best I ever had, my goodness. I need to go back.
❤❤❤
Stunning view, thank you, Mexi Papa, for taking us along.

Back in the 1980s I was working on a project in the Imperial Valley. One night the team and I were hit with extreme Mexican food cravings. So, we headed to Mexicali . . . to discover loads of Chinese and even a few German restaurants. Mexican restaurants downtown? Nope. So, we returned to Calexico where we found a mom-owned cafe still open. As late as it was, that amazing lady made us the most incredible steak picado we had ever eaten! ❤
❤❤❤
Well man.... you missed then the uniqueness of the Mexicali style Chinesse food..... a blend of chinesse-mexican ingredients and flavors.....
Awesome video 🎉❤
Heyyy what a privilege i know the menudo owner. Hes such a nice guy. He's always asking customers if everything is to their liking. Such an amazing person. You should've tried the birote with mantequilla and they also have tamales soooo delicious
Mexico needs to take over his land in Mexicali
Eran miles y no millones!
I went to la zona rosa once, underneath it's a whole little china town. There's an above chinatown but thats all fluff, just like you saw him go down! all chinese people eating and random mexicans like me.
Since a child in my house we would eat mainly puerto rican , italian and chinese food. Love chinese food !!!!
Hey man whenever you come to Mexicali let me take you to the best taco spots
The fact that they still stick to the Chinese culture is amazing and very respectful 🙏
That’s not amazing, it’s disloyal and disrespectful to the Mexican people and their culture.
@@nomadnationalist2776 😢😢😢
la rumorosa is dangerous AF but you can go from TJ to mexicali or vice versa and find Tecate in between where the beer all started, thought it changed now
Was dangerous, in this time it's very safe...
@@albertoacedoperez6469Cartel wise is still dangerous and sometimes innocent victims get hurt.I still visit Mexicali and all Baja California I’m from the other side of the border of Mexicali Imperial Valley 🌞
First time watching your video. Super dope vibes 🤘🏻

Is there a video about how you started doing this, your story, etc.
Who knows where to find the San Diego location of museo del valle?
Que historia tan interesante!…aprendí muchísimo!..gracias 🙏
Sad to say that I’ve been to Mexicali countless times and haven’t tried the Chinese food 😅. Always talk myself out of it thinking if I’m going to Mexico I want Mexican food 😅. Maybe on the next trip.
You are missing out brother. It's so damn good
Is there a location in phoenix for the museum restaurant. I thought he mentioned phoenix?
What's the name of that song
The beer segment was hella funny🤣
😂
Orale! Fantastic video! Saludos desde Hawaii 🤙🏽
So, the point of all this is that, there is a lot of Chinese food, but no chinese people✌️
U went Tecate area only or did u enter Mexicali from Calexico and go into Mexicali,Mexicali?
It would’ve been nice if you had interviewed actual Chinese people.
They are very low key ppl and very humble
its Mexico not China foh our land
@@sebastianbenitez948 Chale, buey. It’s about exploring Chinese culture within Mexico. It’s the whole point of the video. If you are doing that, you just don’t interview ‘nomás mexicanos’, buey. It would’ve been nice to have seen interviews and perspective from Chinese as well, that’s the whole point of the video. Chinese live there too. Just because they are not “Mexicans”, which by the way, the term Mexican is not a race, it’s a nationality. If Chinese were born there, they are technically Mexican too. What, you think only españoles born in Mexico are Mexican? They are not indigenous to the land, only true 100% natives. Mexico is also a land of immigrants. Look no further than the near one million Lebanese who migrated to Mexico. Salma Hayek, Capulina, Mauricio Garcés, Carlos Slim Helu, all of Lebanese decent. So they are not Mexican to you? If they are, so are Chinese-Mexicans, unless you are somehow prejudice towards them. If you don’t want Chinese to be interviewed, then why bother featuring Chinese cuisine in Mexico? What’s the point then? Soy un mexicano de mente abierta. No seamos tan cerrados, buey.
@@mexipapaadventures Chinese are hardly humble. Shy perhaps, but not humble. I can see them being low key because they don’t want any trouble. But humble never enters my mind when I think of Chinese people. That’s my experience from my Shanghai trip. They are way more abrasive and rude than Japanese for example. Speaking of Japanese, it’s by far the best country I’ve ever visited. Amazing country. It makes the U.S. look like a backwaters dump.
@@psychomormon4932wtf is buey, you mean wey or güey
