With my final adventure in Barbados upon me, I headed to Pebbles Beach on the southern coast of the island. There’s a famous place to eat there called Cuzz Cutters, and some other food and drink shops. I couldn’t wait to explore them!
My friends Craig and Nerissa joined me at Cherise’s Cooler Bar, where they sell rum punch, mojitos, whiskey sours, pina coladas, and more. We went with three rum punches with spices in them. They cost roughly $5 USD each. They were tasty but you need to be careful-they’re deceptively strong!

Meanwhile, Nerissa had been in line at Cuzz Cutters for 20 minutes holding out spot. We got three fish cutters, which they cook to order. They’re fish sandwiches that use fresh marlin and a fluffy bun, along with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and more. They cost about $6 USD each!
I loved the marlin and the salt bread, as well as the freshness of the vegetables. It was really tender and the fish was seasoned really nicely. You can also get a double fish cutter if you want.
Then, we left Pebbles Beach to see what else we could do! It was a chill day, so we didn’t have anything planned. Eventually, we headed to the airport to see the planes land before heading to The Tiki Bar for dinner and drinks.
I went with a beer and the Catch Sandwich, which contains red snapper, tomatoes, and lettuce, and added pepper sauce. It was delicious! I loved the pepper sauce, as it wasn’t too spicy. I was loving the food in Barbados. The people here are so kind, and the food is absolutely epic!
What a fantastic way to end my time in Barbados!

Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Fish Sandwich, drinks, cool breeze, coconut water, music, and a beach. Total package. ❤️❤️❤️
Barbados is the best! Buying an apartment there one day :)
@@Davidsbeenhere 😊😊
Oh wow the beach is just breathtaking 😍 that’s somewhere I wished I was at the moment. Those fish sandwiches look fabulous
Brautiful video....the beach ..white sand ..blue waters...tasty fish sandwich...rum punch friendly people...great place to visit... and oh the nice Reggae Music.... Very peaceful place... Thanks as always David and stay safe wherever you are.
Everything taste better by the beach. Lovely vibes. Plane watching is a Caribbean thing. I grew up with that. Till this day I will stop to look at them flying bye. The dinner meal looks very delicious and the pepper to. Such a beautiful place and people. Thank you David
totally!
Ingrid Bee: I love watching the planes flying by too. When we go to Sherway Gardens, they fly very close overhead that you could literally tell what airline it is. Isn't it fun that we could still be a kid at heart no matter how old we get? Fascinating!!! Anyway, I hope it's not too cold for you today, so enjoy it anyway. Keep warm.❤️🇹🇹🇨🇦
@@JudyT868 I know. My cousin lives very close to Sherway. In the summer, he use to come get me. In the backyard I will lay back and view when the planes pass😃💕
@@ingridbee9192 just a kid at heart ❤️.
I came across your videos to Barbados by accident. I love in the US but am from there. I really enjoyed watching the videos. The more I watched the more I want to visit.. I haven't been there in almost 20 years but I hope to go there in the new two months.. I surely will visit some of the places in your videos.. Thanks for showcasing my island
oh thank you so much! i love BIM!!!
I am a huge fan of you, 🇬🇾🇧🇧 one love David 😁
Hi David. I'm from Trinidad and I just want to thank you for appreciating our culture and to let you know we feel the love from you. God bless you in everything you do. You are a true Trini to d bone! 🤗😍
Bless you too Leela. This is such a lovely and kindhearted comment. Thank you so much for taking the time to come and say such a nice compliment. I love Trinidad and I love the food, people, and culture I only wish I could visit for Carnival! Thanks again for your support Leela
Ur name look indian,r u ?
Pebbles Beach was my therapist as a teenager when I used to live in Barbados.. 2-3 evenings a week after work, a 15 minute walk to the beach, dive into the ocean, swim out as gar as possible, 15-30 float, swim back to shore, then watch the sunset while sitting on the beach. I miss that so much.
Finished in Bim just right David, Cuzz Cutters and Tiki Bar, my favorite spots. Come back soon
Thank you so much Barry! I'm so appreciative of your support throughout the series and I'm wishing you a great rest of your week. Really means a lot Barry!
Those cutters are amazing, hoping to get back to Barbados next year and definitely will be going back for them!
Love this, will be visiting in January and love checking out all the lovely places to eat!
This is life. Beach sound of the waves smell of the sea people enjoying the day. And the food .. Fish sandwich is so good. Would love it. Few drinks and must have some coconut water with the Rum punch :P Rum is my favorite Drink ever (happy drink) I hope you didnt leave with too many rum punches lol. Great series visiting Barbados .Loved it. Onward to the next journey ♥♥
Good 👍 stuff 👏
Ha, this is basically where I stay when I am in Barbados, Radisson or Hilton. Cuz is good. The Middle Eastern restaurant on the corner is really good and if you want some good cheap food for breakfast the gas station across the street is the place to go. Pro tip, watch the horses when they are bathing, don't go in the water when they are bathing unless you want to risk getting a staph infection. Hilton has a really good coffee shop but Radisson has better food and a nicer dining experience since you are right on the water, better part of the beach too.
Hey Dave you have inspired me to start Johnsons food tours
Another great upload
Nice content, u had a blast safe flight back see u soon
thank you so much cuirst! It was absolutely incredible and I love Barbados!
We love you❤❤❤❤
I love you all too Lena! THANK YOU!!!
Good Morning Judy, I am about to have my breakfast, menu is Flying Fish, Marlin, Salt Bread, Sugar Apple , Orange and Guava Tea fresh from our Kitchen.
This sounds yummy
Marlene Pollard: gm. First of all you chose the right time to go to Barbados. We had a lot of snow but it's almost melted. A lot of slush yesterday. It's much better today, 0 degrees Celsius. Next, you are torturing me with all that Caribbean food 🤣🤣🤣. I hope you are having a really good time because you have to come back to cold weather eventually 😊😊😊. Anyway if that's breakfast, what's for lunch? Hahaha. Have a great day 💕🇹🇹🇨🇦
@@JudyT868 I am having a good time , with the Jamaican community growing larger here there is an explosion of Jamaican 🇯🇲 restaurants serving amazing delicious food much better than Toronto to be honest. A Lamb Roti at Two of my favorite Trini restaurant here is still reasonable. Including tax $18 Barbados dollars. I need to comeback the Guava tree have plenty but green . I did get some the Sugar apples, the tree is very plentiful and we pick everyday. I am not missing Toronto or having to commute so darn early for work. Have a lovely day Ms. Judy.
@@marlenepollard4982 oh Marlene, you would not have enjoyed going to work yesterday. It was a real mess with so much slush. Everything tastes better in the Caribbean because it is authentic. In Canada they have to cater to so many different tastes especially since Toronto has so many people from all around the world. Sometimes the food is not spicy enough, no salt, not enough cumin, thyme, and the curries are very mild. So enjoy. Be well and stay safe.❤️🙏🇹🇹🇨🇦
Thank you for sharing your moments
David, you do it again I’m so hungry now. Thanks for sharing❤
Thank you so much for your support 2075vj! I truly appreciate it. I hope you get to eat some delicious Bajan food soon!! Have a great weekend!
Hi David,, exploring a new city is a great adventure itself.. Create one vedio with ur father that too on Indian history culture n spirituality n food of course.
GM David: it's always sad to see a good thing come to an end. No matter what the criticism, it's always refreshing to see something different in your video series. The Barbados series was just to sit back and relax. The food was straight up anything that anybody can enjoy. Rum punch is a drink that you really can't drink too much of because you will end up with a bad headache and hangover. BTW, did you get a bottle of Angostura Bitters made in Trinidad? It's very good for your stomach. So I was waiting to see you take a dip in that beautiful beach, but alas, maybe next time eh. A nice ending would have been to see the three of you laying back and relaxing on the beach with rum punch in hand. Great thanks to Craig, Nerissa and all the other people involved in this series. So now on to the next series. I am anxious to see what you have in store for us. BTW, I love the new profile photo. I thought someone was pranking us but saw your explanation about how it came about. So onward and upward we go. 🙏🕊️👼🇹🇹🇨🇦
@Missy thanks Missy. Sending hugs, love and blessings to you.❤️🫂🙏🇹🇹🇨🇦
thank you Judy! Yes last episodes are always sad. My man goal is for people to be able to walk in my shoes to be able to eat, sleep and experience all i do when they visit these destinations. Now tomorrow we got IRAQ!!!
@@Davidsbeenhere can't wait. From what I can see of the 'shorts', (just watched another one with you and Tasos smoking shisha), it's going to be exciting. This is what some people don't understand what you do, that it's not only about the food but everything else involved in these trips. So keep on doing what you are doing. Your regulars get it. Waking up early to see the start of the Iraq series. Much success to you and your team. Be well, stay safe and blessings to you and your family and everyone else around you. 💕🙏🕊️🇹🇹🇨🇦
Oh pebbles beach not far from where i used to lived, hang out on the jetty get thrown off the jetty into ocean some neighborhood friends we would go swimming 🏊♀️ great fun when they also had the hot pot before it moved that was miss.🤩
Years ago that beach was called the hot pot. Esso had an oil platform off the shore and there was a generator off the beach producing bathwater temperature water . People would be there all night. Just a plain beach. No concession stands
Loved this series so much ❤
Thank you so much Xenia! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Have a great weekend!!

Thank you so so much Fazz! I really appreciate your support have a fantastic day!
Most welcome, have a blessed day, be safe 🇹🇹
Coco, and salmon loads of gravy. Okra & cornmeal. And my cousin rum punch. ❤
Waiting to see the one with Sherwin hamcutters in beckles road
@Davidsbeenhere Real run punch with real rum, not the Bacardi crap! The "bun" is salt bread - another Bajan staple. Thanks for the visit!! When you travel, always eat where the locals are willing to queue despite a wait!!
Loved this series ,I didnt even know about cuzz will definitely be trying their fish sandwich now ...much love from Barbados come back soon 🇧🇧🇧🇧
Good Morning David, I do prefer Mahi, Mahi, Flying Fish , Amber Jack and Red Snapper Cutters. Dear Ole Cuz was a legend May He Rest in Peace. There are several types of Marlin , tough , tender and or soft.
Yum all of those sound incredibly delicious, I only wish I had some now!
@@Davidsbeenhere An abundance of gratitude for showcasing my little island in the sun. Best wishes on your next adventure . We will be right there with you. May God continue to Bless you and your family.

my best bro david looking handsome thank you for your huge respect against cpec friendship countries lot of love from your best bro viki 💙
David nice short video. Barbados looks lovely. Even though am from Trinidad I have never been there...I will some day. Their marlin fish sandwich looked delicious. ...but can't touch Trinis bake and shark. 💙
I love rum punch
nice
❤❤❤
You might want to teach Nerissa how Instagram works. Having an account and posting your account on a channel with over a million followers and then having your account private so no one can follow it makes no sense. LOL 😂
Big up from Barbados 🇧🇧 #Rashole 😅😂😂🤣🤣🤣
👍👍
Barbados looks beautiful and the food looks delicious 😋. Love in the house from Trinidad.
Give her tips
Documentary of them stealing people coconuts loooll

The Food looks Delicious😋 but it's not Vegan 🥦🥕🌽😐😐😐😐 as Being an Indian 🇮🇳 I'm strictly vegetarian,,,,, But love from India & I'm hoping You to see with Indian Food blogs,
Sending You lotta regards, respect and plethora of blessing 🤗❤

Not much street foods in Barbados ?
Plenty

Why do you show the people secrets? This is salt bread. I prefer the salt bread...hops to light! Drinks got to your head there at Tiki bar!
