i got the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro totally love it, but i am hoping they turn on the ECG functionality on this watch, who knows what the TGA will do with Huawei and the issues that they are facing

@@SeedubsMedia thats true. the only criticisim i have with the watch well more so the sports profile is that you cant do an active switch of the sports like say Android or Apple Watch. For instance lets say i start a walk, then i want to run for a bit, i have to stop the workout. Load up Run Workout then wait for it to load up again and continue the workout, and vice versa. unless you know how to do this?
I have Watch GT3, this device has the best heart rate sensor, and step tracker, but it does not have ECG? let me how is the accuracy

hi mate, sorry for late reply. For open water swimming they essentially just track your distance and heart rate so no issue.
Please excuse my confusion, I recently tried the GT3 Pro and in the app it recorded my exercise and calories burned just for the exercise - but not my total calories for the day, i.e. it didn't include my basal rate and non-exercise related calories burned. For example, the Fitbit app shows every calorie burned throughout the day and night, regardless of whether it's exercise related or not? So I just look at my total calories burned, then I can work out weight loss diet requirements re calories.

I'm using gt3 pro Some of the watch faces cont found it
I have used this watch for about a year and do not recommend this watch for sports.
Why?
1) Huawei customer support is very weak, letters and suggestions are not answered.
2) Watch doesn't have a basic lock touch screen option to use it in water sports and activities. When wearing long sleeves or gloves, there is a high risk of accidentally stopping or pausing the activities.
There is no way to determine which way the watch faces and where the buttons are located (a basic feature of Garmin watches).
3) In the Huawei Health software, there is no option to change the activity later (for example, you mistakenly labeled running as a sport, but you actually rode a bike and you want to correct the activity later).
4) There is no normal way to sync training records to Strava. The direct sync solution just doesn't work for Android and iPhone.
In practice, it is possible to synchronize records to Strava only from Android, if you download the Huawei app Gallery, HMS Core, Health Sync (paid) softwares and you configure them. However, there are occasional problems with synchronization.
This watch is a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT, I will never buy Huawei products ever ever EVER again.
After 3 months of use mine broke. First the battery lasted 4 days, then the quick action button broke, then the screen went green and touch went out. Huawei representatives said they might not replace it if they find water infiltration in it. Since the sympoms relate to liquid damage, and I did not use it for swimming, where is the water coming from ?
They state "water resistant up to 5 bar" and have "swimming" exercise tracking on it, but from my experience, the watch can barely handle light raining. What am I suppose to do if I even thought to go at the pool? Swim with one hand above the water :D ?
Is moderately good as fitness tracker but you would rather have a xiaomi cheap edition. At least that one resists washing your hands with it still on your hand and does not die after 3 months (had a mi band 4, lasted me through hell and back, salt water, pool water, hot water, showers, multiple hits, working on my car etc)
