Love it. Great demo Brett. This is so close to what my dream guitar would be: change to Roasted Maple, black hardware, and the LSR nut and we'd have a winner.
Hey mate thanks for your vids! Any chance you could do a round up of any short scale guitars you think are worthy? Apart from Mustang and other usual suspects they seem to be a bit thin on the ground these days. My main guitar is a MIJ short scale strat. Thanks again!
I remember when Allan Holdsworth used to use Charvel's in theEarly 80's. That is a beautiful sounding guitar on Clean tones, almost anything sounds good with LOTS of GAIN.
Hey Brett, thanks for this video! Seems like a really versatile and well made guitar. I assume you would recommend this for solid EVH tones, but also a lot more? I'm looking at Wolfgang Special or maybe this Charvel.
To me it's a kitchen-sink kind of instrument. It does the old PAF thing very well, plays like a performance car, looks great and is a no-fuss affair where maintenance is concerned. I liked it so much I bought two of them so one is permanently road-cased and on the road, the other is always by my side in my new RUclips studio. Highly recommended.
@@BrettKingman have since purchased this guitar, taking your trusted recommendation! I may also change strings to 10's, when you did that confirming you had to adjust the springs somehow? thanks
Hi! Great work Brett, as always! I have a question - I own a Charvel that you had in you videos - Charvel 2022 Platinum Pearl Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 HSS HT. Now Im considering buying this Aswani and I wonder - how do they compare? How are the necks different, also is JB very different from Aswani signature bridge pickup? It would be great to hear from the first hand, since you own both.
Good questions. They are different, yes. Firstly the Platinum Pearl has a compound radius on a maple board. It's a hardtail so the tension is different too - it's stiffer because we're not dealing with a floating trem as is the case with the PA28. The Platinum Pearl's profile is very similar aside from those points although just a tad thinner if my tactile gauge is correct. Pickups: a JB is much hotter and more mids-heavy than the A3 PA28's in Prashant's guitar. The latter are designed to be like subtler PAF's - not 80's shred engines. I prefer the PA28's. Cheers.
Would've been nice to actually hear what it sounds like instead of with all the delay and reverb, etc! 🤦♂️ From what I did hear, it sounded decent....just not $1400 decent thought! 🤦♂️
Please note I mucked up with the fret size: they are jumbo frets, not medium-jumbo as stated in the video. Today I wear the hair shirt.
That’s awesome to hear! Prashant is a great guy!
Pretty awesome to know that Noel Gallagher watches you play guitar Brett.
You’re such a stellar player & I love the way you demo!!!! This new Prashant Aswani Charvel model is truly unique & that trem…..A++
Really a wonderful sounding guitar in your hands Brett.
Oh god dam it! Now I'm in love again.... charvel stop it!

Brett, if you go on tour in the states we need to know! I would love to see you live.
Une belle guitare et une excellente démo, merci
Great demo and nice specs.
Impressive demo. Thanks
Gran demo y una grandísima guitarra
Greetings! Does the neck have the same "shoulder" that the other pro-mod so-cals do? D-ish as oppsed to C? Cheers!
Great demo Brett. Love the guitar, so good. Not sure about the colour though, it might grow on me I guess. :)

First guitar I bought in a long time where I thought "that was worth it"
Well done review and greenscreen work! Greetings, Alex ;)

Tnx for the reply and keep up the good work!
sounds great man. you in Melbourne?
Great sounding guitar, Brett. How all goes well with the move.
Noel Gallagher mentioned you on a pedal show this week.
Does this mean you are willing to sell me one of your orange Charvel’s?
I only have one (Jason Tong has the other) and no. 😅
Medium jumbo are 6150.
Thanks. They're jumbo size, not medium-jumbo as incorrectly stated in the video. My bad.

I wish this had stainless steel frets
very cunning use of what I assume must be a 5 way super switch.
