when i went on it i wasnt expecting that backwards drop. i read the sign and in my mind i went “brace myself for what?” then i nearly had a heart attack a few seconds later...
you probably dont give a shit but if you're bored like me atm then you can watch pretty much all the new movies and series on Instaflixxer. Been watching with my gf for the last few days xD
Want a to know if it's good went on it by myself sat right in middle due to restrictions of covid and got absolutely soaked I was surprised thinking I'm by myself probably won't get soaked ive been on this so many times amazing ride
With water attractions disappearing from parks like Thorpe Park and Alton Towers, finding an operating "water chute" type ride in the UK is also becoming a rarity.
@@pjmm2834 We can't guarantee anything. It depends on the park and ride ops unfortunately. It would be nice to get a decent 4K POV of it though, so we'll do our best 🙂
haha i went here last august with my cousins and we all started panicking at the backwards bit. we were soaked for the rest of the day but it was worth it
My mum and my friends forced me on this years ago because I have a fast track and they didn’t wanna queue, we got stuck at the top for ages and then we got soaked 😭😭
Great video, and it looks like a fun ride. BUT.... that water looks nasty! Especially the foam on the surface. I don't think I'd want to get wet on this ride!
@@XtremeCoasters I think only the train ride is open at Adventure Cove as a haunting experience, the Vikings rides are open as well as Apocalypse and the haunting
The fact that this monster has 3 drops (one of which is backwards, and will hydrate your bones if you’re in the front row), literally makes the boat into a cold tub, is like 70 feet tall AND does this all with NO RESTRAINTS AT ALL…
it’s not even the big drop that scares me, it’s the water!! I’ve been on it 2 times, one with a poncho and one without and let me just say, going on this without a poncho is honestly a big mistake 💀 I came off it DRENCHED! My hair was dripping, it looked like I just came out of the shower. My advice is definitely use a poncho 😭 but the big drop at the end can be quite nerve wrecking. But, overall it’s super fun!!
I went on this yesterday, I was on the back seat and was absolutely soaked through. Be prepared. I mean like soaked even down the underwear level of soaked. 😂🙈
It took us a good few hours to dry off, we got absolutely soaked. That big wall of water that fills the screen at the bottom of the final drop hits you at full speed. There is no avoiding it.

LITERALLY SAME LMAO
Were going there in 2 months lmao

@Jasiah Dillon yup, I have been watching on instaflixxer for since december myself =)
The backwards drop is the worst part like I was swearing
*This looks wonderful!!!!!* Probably the most unique log flume ride in the UK now, especially after the passing of Thorpe Park's "Loggers' Leap".
It's a great ride, extremely wet! It's been totally repainted since this was filmed, it looks much nicer now 🙂
The back seat of this is Valhalla and Popeye rapids level of wetness
Omg yes we got soaked it's not even funny
@@crystalbaker-tinmurth780 it is funny
I swear everyone has the same reaction on the backwards bit XD
We think you're probably right 🤣
@@XtremeCoasters lol i might be XD XD
i was choking on water on the backwards bit 😂😂
I was fine on it 😭✋
I’m going in a few days can’t wait
Hope you have fun 🙂
Cool ride !!! That last drop was totally awesome !!!
You get soaked, but we love it. The last drop is definitely the highlight 🙂
I’m going on the 28th with my mate looking forward to it haven’t been since 2019
Have fun!
My fave ride at Drayton manor!
I was at draton manor today 🥰 I went to shockwave 😂 I was scared to go on it because it was my first time. It was fun 🤩
i remember going on this ride with my drama teacher back on a school trip in 2019. both of us weren’t expecting to go flying backwards 🤣
I went on it today when I went to draton manor sooo much fun

shockwave 4k front seat pov?
We didn't get one last visit, we were only allowed to film on Stormforce 10 and Maelstrom. But maybe next visit 🙂
XtremeCoasters Network when do you think you will visit next?:)
@@pjmm2834 Possibly later this year, but nothing has been planned yet.
XtremeCoasters Network thank you for the swift reply, do you think a shockwave pov could possibly happen in your next visit?

I loved the storm force 10 and the river rapids I wouldn’t go on the shock wave as I’m scared of heights
It is a lot of fun 🙂
I went on this.... I LOVED IT
haha i went here last august with my cousins and we all started panicking at the backwards bit. we were soaked for the rest of the day but it was worth it
🤣 The backwards section always takes people by suprise.
@@XtremeCoasters yeah, it’s a great ride :)
Wow it loooks fun
It is, but you get extremely wet.
i went onto it irl on frount seat and omg it was amazing but scary
I went on this ride ages ago but got stuck at one point
Sadlife

We went to drayton manor for a school trip and I sat at the back
Oof thats sad
@@ZainabAli-ik8rf i know right
The bird at the bottom of the last drop got soaked
Where do You put your phone and things for this ride ? Do they have lockers?
From what I remember, they don't have lockers at the actual ride, but there were lockers behind the carousel, along with a few other areas.
@@XtremeCoasters thanks mate
@@Ali.09Zz No worries 🙂

Thanks. It's the natural water from the lake in the middle of the park. It looks worse than it actually is 🙂
Just been on it
Have fun drying out 🌊😂
been there
Us too 😁
ITS SO SCARY!!
A lot of fun though 😁
@@XtremeCoasters I rode it on Monday :D I must agree :))
I'm at Drayton Manor this Saturday for the halloween event Night at the Manor
It might be a bit cold for this one, you get absolutely soaked!
@@XtremeCoasters I think only the train ride is open at Adventure Cove as a haunting experience, the Vikings rides are open as well as Apocalypse and the haunting
Question, which sit do you get the least wet in
The back or the front. The front you get drenched on the forward drops, the back you get drenched on the backward drops 🙂
@@XtremeCoasters haha! Thank you 😁
Why was there a drop at the beginning of the ride
@@danielmelvin6876 Why not? It adds something a little different 🙂
i shat myself on this
💀💀💀
Props to you for being the sacrifice to the water but why does the water be looking like that 💀💀
The ride uses the actual water from the lake.
Day after year 11 I went here and me and my friends got soakes even with the ponchos
😂 It's ridiculously wet!

Indeed :)
I preferred the log flume that was there

We got a drenching too. We were soaked through dropping out of the station lol.
Sit at the back, it's the driest place 😉
Thanks, but no thanks lol
I sat at the back because I wanted to get wet. No regrets it was fun. The backwards part was scary tho
My dad chose to sit at the back on this ride cause he didn’t want to get but when it turned around he started to cry ahahahhaah
my shoes are still wet from this !!!
🤣
i was 7 when i went on this. i was traumatised for life lol. (ive never really liked rollercoasters tho tbh)
I went on this yesterday, I was on the back seat and was absolutely soaked through. Be prepared. I mean like soaked even down the underwear level of soaked. 😂🙈
We know that feeling. You're beyond drenched at the bottom of the little drop leaving the station 🤣
Doesn't look like you get too wet on it
It took us a good few hours to dry off, we got absolutely soaked. That big wall of water that fills the screen at the bottom of the final drop hits you at full speed. There is no avoiding it.
If you are sitting in rows 3 or 4 there is a back drop and i have been shivering before the big 3rd drop
I got drenched for the rest of the day
A log ride that gets you wet at the Start.
Correct. Very wet 😂
This seems like the most obnoxious group of people to have to share a boat ride with! They talked and yelled loudly the entire trip!
Unfortunately, yes.
