Same lol. I love their armor, ranks, their gameplay and especially their voice lines. My favorite enemies from any Halo game by far. The Infinite elites are also really cool too, love their reach style armor, gameplay and physiology. Like did you know there are 4 different types of Chieftains in the game? And that Chieftains are bigger than the standard brutes? Also, the Chieftains have a different voice actor and dialogue. On top of that, their armor is entirely destructible. They're so fleshed out. Most complete enemy we've ever had in Halo.

There's the Silver Scrap Cannon Chieftains that have Silver and Gold Armor with a Square Helmet headdress, and a outward pointing square horn. They also have a sideburn style beard. They have energy shields. Lastly there's this Silver Hammer Chieftain, his helmet is identical to the Halo 3 Chieftains and Bassus, with a huge ornate headdress plate, 2 side horns, and a huge inward main horn. His armor matches the Scrap Cannon one. His face also has the sideburn style beard. He also has energy shields equal to the scrap Cannon one. The High value target Chieftains have identical armor to the Red Hammer Chieftains albeit with purple color, and Bassus and Silver Hammer Chieftain very similar armor with some differences (like color and undersuit).

Yea. Not only is thruster very useful here, but having upgraded shields is almost mandatory. Otherwise he can one shot you easily even with his weaker attacks
too bad it's horribly imbalanced in Infinite's custom Firefight, where player spartans only get one equipment with depleteable charges and no upgrades.

I like the detail in how realistic he is. You're jumping around the room and shooting him with a skewer while he's chasing after you with a hammer designed to flip a warthog. Add that with the fact you killed his ally and he's got to walk with moat of that armor on, he'd of course sound tired and desperate

Lol... yeah this was fun on legendary 🤣 I just hid up in the ramp and shot the one brute in the foot a bunch of times till I killed him haha, then finished off the Brute with the Gravity Hammer. Definitely worth the feeling of accomplishment with every encounter you beat on legendary.
I am a die-hard Legendary only Halo Campaign Player and for me, this was just one of those fights I had to cheese. I just poked at them one by one in the hallway.
Seems like INfinite has some badass enemies :P It was funny when he called you a coward when he got tired of chasing you, but then right after he was at ranged lobbing nades lol
For most of the playthrough I used only the grapplehook and got slaughtered by the Chieftains. Around this time, I realized that the Thrusters were much better for combat and I maxed them out. Helped me a ton against bosses .
@@precastsnake3171 Lol you're playing Infinite how I play Dark Souls. I usually underlevel my character's vitality to keep it hard. This was my 2nd playthrough, next play through I'm gonna try no shield upgrades and see how it is. Probably gonna rage quit.
@@terminalarray1047 honestly it gets really really hard when nearly every boss one shots you. Having some patience and making sure you watch closely for the saving progress and checkpoints goes a long way
@@terminalarray1047 If you wanna rage quit try playing the campaign with the thunder skull or whichever is the one that upgrades the rank of every enemy. 90% of brutes have rocket launchers and every grunt has a shield and every elite is an ultra. It is very difficult let me tell you
Yea. There are other vids I have where I get one shot. My only explanation was I technically didn't take a direct hit on his attacks. So maybe that explains it lol
@@terminalarray1047 it depends on the damage multiplier since they do have a varying damage. From like 1.3 to 1.8 multiplier to their melee damage, it's a bit complicated explained but if you see it in the numbers you immediately understand

You can actually 2 shot these guys if you land a skewer head shot first to knock the helmet off and then you can headshot them with the commando. Did it on legendary too and it works
halo infinite is my first halo game, and to become good at the game and have my ass handed to me on a silver, rather than a gold platter, i decided to play through it on legendary, on my first playthrough. almost finished with the campaign, too. Its fun.

Mod tools aren't available yet but there is tag viewer for I finite and I sued it to modify many things, amplify chiefs health, decrease health of ensmies(or increase if needed) decrease their tracking/leading and remove the annoying legendary damage multiplier they have. Also make chief be as fast as in the books. This way the game feels much more fair, fun and challenging then anything else as it forces you to be on the move rather then stay in cover and pick them all of from range
I have maxed out shields. If your shields are maxed his weaker attacks can't one shot you. His heavy attacks still can, like the leap, overhead slam, sideways slam leap etc.

I didn't use the thrusters in my playthrough, I just kinda hid and died and hid and died lol. After like my 3rd death I figured it all out.
