Hey, AJ! Dig your channel. Thanks for the schooling. Just got 8yo grandson a crf110... his 1st bike & full Fox kit. Would love to get him a 1/2 day training at Ultimate or Irondog. Summer moto camp at Irondog would be sick but, he's gonna need sponsors too! Hahaha! ✌️
You mentioned braking up the face of the jump. How so? Front, rear, smooth up the whole face, mostly at the bottom of the face? Clutch in while breaking and off the lip? Curious what the technique is there as this is where i’m struggling. Also timing the jumps like camera man cam.
I agree with Kyle here, I'd love to hear more input. As an older rider that hasn't been riding long scrubbing is not something in my trick back so I also tend to time jumps. When I don't time them and charge I end up having to think fast and brake tap to correct. I used to chop throttle at the top of a jump and that never ended up good, so I'd be nervous braking up a face would result in the same butt pucker. I'm very interested in further input on braking up a jump face.
Getting harder to relate to Cams mistakes cause they're all disappearing lol someone is paying attention in class👍Love this series, glad yall brought it back
We need a full Am video with Cam. Just one where you pick a section like this and critique him until you think it's pretty much perfect for his skill level.
Would love to see a vid on HOW to charge the jumps & jump while off of the gas on a 4 stroke! Body position, sus preloading/absorbing, etc. Any chance you'll hit Kahuku MX located in the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii on your world tour? If so sign me up! Thanks for the content 🤙🏻
Used to go by that way of hitting jumps, hit them hard and back it down. But after a big overjump and 2 broken legs, 2 months in a wheelchair i really struggle to learn the lenght of new jumps.. Stopped riding for 3 years and just started again and its a pain. Mental part of it is a bit-h. Any advice on how to overcome this fear i built up?
I always used to shift in the air or on smaller bumps when the bike unloads so it goes into the next gear easier. Rather then on the ground over choppy bumps.
The pro vs am series is awesome, but I wish you would've explained your thought process a little more on this one AJ. As in, charging hard and allowing yourself to coast off the take off which naturally keeps you lower while in the air, which means overall much quicker. Alot of benefits to be gained from charging jumps that aren't talked about.
That must be a HOT 250 motor if your wanting him to shift ton4th right there ..I only hit 4th on the straight after the stop. But that’s a 350 that makes all the power ringing it out. Is the new Honda real torquey like the yamahas now?
Watch all your videos not yet joined the academy you came close to my house for a training day was close to calling out just to come say hi because I know the track owners haha. But watching this video out of all your videos you seem off... like your upset in a sense or got somthing going on either way I hope all is well and continue your push with supercross this main event with triple crown is all you man.
See, I think doing as fast as you can means, full throttle all the way, all the time, even up, through and over a jump face. I think that causes looping out right ?
These are always my favorite videos to shoot 😁
If you want to train with me, check out tour.themotoacademy.com 👍🏼👍🏼

Lately, this is some of the best content you've put out from an academic point of view.
Honestly, these are my favourite vids, I watch with my 13 year old son all the time and I really like watching Cam progress. Good job guys
Glad you enjoy them! We love shooting these !
We love seeing Cam on the other side of the lens!
Love the pro vs am series, it’s much more relatable watching Cam! Also more gooning at the end😂 I watched all the way though 😁
This.

Haha he sure is!!
I love watching your instructional videos at tracks I have ridden. Helps me adjust my riding even more appropriately.
Checked where you were going on tour, you have to come to Norway! :)
Braking up the jump face, that seems advanced to me. I would get in trouble doing that.
100%

THANKS AJ, I ENJOY YOUR INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEOS. THEY ALWAYS GIVE ME SOMETHING TO WORK ON WHEN I GO RIDING. ALSO, YOU'RE A NATURALLY GOOD TEACHER
Love the gooning at the end!🤣😂🤣😂
Whoa Cam has already come a long way since you first started this series, that's cool! This is something I also need to work on.
I like how you actually put a video of me riding at the end.
AJ we need you to make a main this year btw your my favorite RUclipsr keep the work up
Thanks!
Awesome simple teaching taught well with great progression
Cam had some really good improvements in the video series. This video hits home to me…timing the jumps is a struggle
Keep up the good work guys!
Great video AJ!
Good video! You at the end was funny! LOL Love it.

Takes a lot of time! Progress on jumps that are very forgiving, so if you make mistakes it won’t be catastrophic. Takes months and months
Aj you are so fast man keep going
"Let me put my helmet on to hide my bald spot" 😆
Definitely a good content vid..thanks 👍😁🔥
Dang Cam gettin good huh?! Whatcha back AJ haha
100k here we come
The scrub at 8:17 caught me so off guard and I had a good laugh.
Oh my God .. Pete shut off the camera … oh my God !!! 🤣🤣🤣😂 such a cutey ✌🏻
"dirtbikes are hard". Agree 💯%
The last thing Cam mentioned about extending his arms out, I noticed all the pros and fast guys do that when jumping, why do you guys do that ?
I live 30 min. from Spyder, are you there this weekend?
I always used to shift in the air or on smaller bumps when the bike unloads so it goes into the next gear easier. Rather then on the ground over choppy bumps.
Could you please put up a link to Camera Man Cams channel, thanks

Hahahaha all the tracks I've ridden look just as hardpack as that with the exception of.... we have truckloads of sharp rocks. 😁
Cool vid man. Thanks
The best videos start where you almost dropped the bike 2 or 3 times
