I like having a polearm unit to protect my crossbowmen. Once their ammo is gone and infantry is engaged. I send them in on a flank attack. I wish they'd allow mods on console. They could do it. I'd pay £25-£50 for DLC say the Realm of Thrones or the Europe 1100 mods
Created an army using cataphracts khan guards first ranged fire and only line breakers for infrantry. By the time my infantry get there the calvary already took like half of the enemy out.
How can you call the sharp shooters the best archers, then follow it up with "if you want to step it up a notch" the fian champions...... the fian champions are awesome!!!
Infanty: legionary supplemented with sturgian line breaker Archers: sharpshooters and fian champs (more fians because they have range and more projectiles) Calvery: elite cataphracts supplemented with knights Horse archers: mostly khan guards and some bucelarii

You will never see Realm of Thrones as official DLC of anything since it is a copyrighted IP.
@@epicfail8563they can buy the rights to it or do a contract 75% of sales go to the owner of the ip while the devs of bannerlord get 25%

Then you should always hold the cavs wait for infantry to reach then unleash them
I have a 150 party limit right now what would be the best army to fit this limit
It honestly depends on play style. I'd be heavy on ranged units. 20 good knight's and you should be good 🖖

I dislike crossbows period. Their dps is low compared to bow units and it takes forever to reload leaving them exposed and vulnerable. Bows are best.
Ill try the imperial foot. Ive always used valandian sargents

Imperial foot = Roman soldiers. Already a win
The Empire troops are more Byzantine. Their mercenary troops are Roman though.
