  • I need some more covered space for my attachments, so I'm adding a shed roof to the other side of my shed. First time setting up and using a Countyline Post Hole digger.

    Nice video. I wasn't too sure how well it would work on the 1025r. Btw, your Lucky all my peeps got squat to borrow 😂

    Beats doing it by hand, thanks for sharing.

    I'll also add that the protective sleeve is spinning. Add some small chain to it at the small holes at each end & connect to something solid so the sleeve doesn't spin. It's a safety sleeve

    I have the exact same one. Does a great job but it is a challenge to hook up to the tractor

    Fully raised the gear box on the post drill is closer to the tractor. As it is lowered it gets further away. Inch the tractor forward, that will take out the side wobble. Not doing this makes the auger try to “walk” up out of the hole causing the side wobble.

    I have the Frontier PHD100 and I am positive that the Tractor Supply County Line model is a superior piece of equipment.

    From a scale of 1 to 10 how do you like those teeth on the bucket How affective are they?

      @ataleofthreecabins1025  5 лет назад

      A scale? That's a tough way to answer. For my purposes of clearing brush, roots, and pushing back the woods it definitely enhances that type of work compared to just the bucket. It's a pricey attachment as most of them are and I was able to do a lot without it. For the purposes mentioned above I would give it a 7 out of 10. I recently set aside a large pile of gravel for future needs. I'm thinking the teeth will also help to break it up if it should become frozen this winter. One thing for me is I have clamp on forks and a clamp on hitch so I'm always bolting and unbolting the teeth. Sometimes I think I need 3 tractors with 3 different set ups. Hope that helps.

    Nice video! You should have grade 5 shear bolts where that pin is. Also in the same area, the is a Allen bolt with a nut that goes into a channel right near where the shear bolt goes. When the shear bolt breaks, the Allen screw protects you from the drive shaft coming off and hurting or killing you or others. Also, watch the protective case at the connection of the gear box & auger They come loose often with 2 bolts up inside that cover.

      defend223 Grade one it’s softer (a slick head bolt) grade 5 bolt will cause you real problems.

    I have a howse digger PHD and cannot understand why your neighbor would keep it disassembled, hard enough to put on anyway much less having to assemble and disassemble. I made a stand for mine so it's held upright

      I liked my neighbors so much I went out and got one from Tractor Supply on sale plus 10% off. It was a little different then the one I borrowed which I am going to mention in a future video.

    In the future if you use again. Go easy. I have seen pics of the part where the third link hooks on broken due to sideways force. That post hole digger would cause a lot of side force on those. I have a 1025r and always cautious when using something on the back, example rear blower. Try the link below.
