I'm surprised you don't weigh 300 lbs! As much as you love food! I love watching you get so excited about your dish. We went out to an Italian restaurant last week. My honey didn't even finish his homemade spinach ravioli! He said my cooking was better! A lot of my recipes come from Laura in the Kitchen! Sometimes I modify a recipe here or there, but thank you for helping me make great healthy food!

This came out amazingly good!! I did it just as the recipe said except I added chicken because I wanted it to be a main course and not a side dish and I was out of milk so I used heavy cream instead. Laura never disappoints with her recipes ever!

Looks great! Have to say, though....No matter where you buy it, always rinse your broccoli!! If you didn't get it from your garden, and taken care of it yourself, you never know who's hands have been on it! Just sayin'

This recipe is a winner y’all! Thanks Laura. I doubled my dry seasonings (kept wet ingredients the same), and tripled the amount of shredded cheese I stirred into the cheese sauce. The only huge difference is that my casserole was not done in 50 minutes. I had to keep it uncovered for much longer until the liquid was mostly absorbed from the top of the dish. Added cheese to the top in the final few minutes. I only made this because it is my mom’s favorite but I think it’s my new favorite, too. 😃

I made it last night with some fried chicken cutlets, it was delicious, but definitely needed more salt. I think I'm going to add a bit more cheese and a generous helping of salt when I reheat and finish off the rest for dinner tonight. 😋

My mom makes a dish similar to this it includes broccoli and cauliflower covered in cheese and then it’s baked.
Can you make this the day prior? If so, how would I reheat?
GREAT FLAVOR! But.....upon reheating rice was mush. Next time (yes i will make again) ill use regular rice. Hopefully fix the mushy part. Fantastic flavor!! Luved it!
