  • In previous video i explained one method of mppt implementation using boost converter in matlab. so this is a continuation of that video and, here i am demonstrating another method of mppt implementation. compared to the first method, this method has poor tracking performance. Feel free to post your doubts in the comment section.

      The current directory 'e:
      ew folder
      ew folder\bin' is reserved for MATLAB files.
      Please change your current directory to a writable directory outside of the MATLAB installation area.
      Any one please tell me what this error

      Hi@Tech Simulator......it’s a nice video..one small thing I want to suggest......in the mppt function, you can utilise “ctrl+f” and replace the words in one go....it will save time👍 keep up the good work

    When I changed my RLoad my voltage is changed why?? It go beyond 900v can you explain why , I have used the algorithm you provide in video

    Assume it was required to implement MPPT but also at the same time keep the output voltage constant. How would achieve this?

      You need a second stage (some LLC) with a feedback. MPPT is about a power, so it’s about keeping a U•I constant, not U or I separately.
      Besides, if you make an optimizer, that second stage is required to connect many in series (you can even do not keep an output voltage stable, but you will need a free path for a current, in case one of an mppt is turned off, that a boost converter cannot provide itself).

      max possible duty ratio is 1. when it reaches that value the mosfet will be ON always. to avoid that, i chose a value which is less than 1.

      one thing you have to remember is that we never let boost converter to work beyond a specific duty ratio
