  • The Nilfisk patio cleaner is the ideal solution for cleaning large areas such as decks, patio’s, driveways or walls. The brush seal prevents the water from being directed where you do not want it and the rotating head makes light work of cleaning large areas. The pressure can be adjusted by means of a dial on the top of the cleaner. If you have a large area to clean the Nilfisk patio cleaner is the ideal solution as it will connect to the lance on the Nilfisk pressure washer and make light work of any cleaning.

    Just bought my first Nilfisk power washer today and I'm delighted with it. Much better than my last 2 karcher models. Got a lot of done with it today with no problems. Best power washer I've ever had. Great video by the way!

    One of these came with the Ryobi pressure washer I bought from Homebase a few months ago. I put it into storage thinking it wouldn't be much use, but a friend asked me to clean up her patio decking the other day so, thanks to your video, I'll give it a try. BTW, the Ryobi machine has been great so far - high quality build and a good price too.

    This is a great attachment if you have a Nilfisk pressure washer, it means you can clean a large area very quickly with the minimum of overspray, what’s better is that you can pick one up for about £30 fave.co/2J5D2lB

    Had a Nilfisk pressure washer for 5 years, great bit of kit for the price. Only started using the patio cleaner last year, should have been using it from the start. So much quicker and easier, plus it uses less water which is a bonus when you have water meter.

    I was given a karcher pressure washer that came with a similar attachment. I was very dubious about how well it would work but actually it shocked me and did a great job. Not as deep a clean on concrete as a proper lance but plenty good enough for most areas. I reckon if you kept the maintenance up and did the washing a little more often it would be all you needed, and of course that's easier since it must have been 4 or 5 times faster than using a lance on larger areas.

    I’ve got a seven year old version of this patio cleaner. It’s no where near as fast as this. Reckoning they’ve improved the nozzles. If you ever find it spinning more slowly, I found that a blast of wd40 on the bearing will bring it back to good a new.

    That looks very good. I was sceptical at first thinking the pressure won’t be god enough but it obviously does a good job. Does it need a minimum pressure PSI washer to work effectively? Although saying that it is very therapeutic with a strong nozzle blasting dirt from a patio! Thanks for the review.

    • @ultimatehandyman
      @ultimatehandyman  6 лет назад

      I don't think it needs a minimum pressure as I'm sure it will work with any Nilfisk pressure washer, obviously the higher the pressure the better the results will be.

      Ultimate Handyman there is a mortar raking tool that looks like two iceskate blades that does the job well. I am sure you already know the damage caused by water ingress to the sub base and then that is compounded by frost lift. One day spent know will save you a back braking couple of weekends. I have mine planed for September.

    Nice, the one thing is these attachments quite expensive.
    One question, all those surfaces you cleaned here. Were they cleaned before, then sealed by some sort of sealer?
    It makes a big difference, to when you clean next time with washer.

    I got a similar patio cleaner with my Nilfisk but to be honest, I find it very flimsy and doesnt do a good job. This version may be a bit sturdier. Id still just use a nozel when cleaning decking though. Highly recommend Nilfisk power washers, far better than Karcher.

      I've had two Nilfisk pressure washers now and they have been great. I have not tried Karcher!

    • @ultimatehandyman
      @ultimatehandyman  4 года назад

      It depends how dirty the drive is. The patio cleaner is great for covering a large area much faster than the lance, but the lance can be adjusted so that it is really powerful and can get the drive cleaner.

      Most of the consumer grade karchers we have had eventually leak or crack at the pump. Our current one has done well, not cracking by keeping it indoors rather than letting it freeze in the shed, but after 7/8 years of mild use is now leaking quite a bit from the pump.
      Have heard good things about nilfisk, so might try them when this one completely gives up.

    Surface cleaners are good if used with a powerful machine with a good flow rate, a device like this with a flow resistance is pointless, always use full power as dont forget you are dividing the power by 2 because of the twin nozzles.
