Minicat, that's the thing! I just got done typing up a comment about it on the first video. The Water ones are also pretty good for burst healing since they have SP regain, and the wood one has an attack buff on it's heal along with expose weakness. They make excellent healers until you can get a fully built five or four star to replace them with.
im new to the game and did not realise i did not finish the arthur quests yet untill player level 30 so when I finished I used the tickets for a evo 3 light arthur

I may upload more gacha video guides soon, but I prefer to pick games that don't have content creators in abundance, or that have older videos and could use some newer ones. AFAIK these 2 games have lots of content, so I'm still looking for a new game to do uploads for.
Square gems are the only ones that can have crit rate as a main stat. So no, not every mon needs them, because not every mon needs crit rate. But one of the easiest to farm early game dungeons gives square gems as its reward. You can farm that dungeon with a starting evo 2 team of nothing but water monas. So, not only are square gems vitally important for your high damage mons and especially for the dark mons, which automatically get increased crit damage for free, but the dungeon you will be farming gives only square gems as well. Trying to take advantage of square gem slots becomes less important later on as you can farm higher end game content and get crit rate as sub stats, so you don't need it as a main stat on gems at that point. It is mainly just helpful early on. Makes the gearing up process much easier and makes your damage mons do a lot more damage early on.
I started playing thinking not to tryhard, but it turns out it's stronger than me... so here I am watching guide videos on how to be more effective in the game and thanks to you, my life is getting a lot easier with all the tips I'm learning I would like to ask you something; unfortunately I had already played for a few hours before watching your videos, so I ended up choosing Wood Odin in the contract... what would you recommend me to do next? my comp at the moment is: Variant fire shinobi fire valkyrie water arthur evo2 fire miho and thanks again for your guides!!
You have some very nice units! That fire shinobi is meta. I recommend going all-in on Odin. To be honest, she finally got her ultimate skill just recently, so she might even be better than arthur. Her design is better for sure. I've always loved Odin's design. She looks awesome. Anyways, I recommend getting all 3 Odins from contracts and then deciding on your favorite and raising that one to EVO3 by raising the other 2 to EVO2, and hopefully getting a lucky Odin summon or a selector ticket reward for that final third EVO2. You may also be able to farm her soul pieces. In the meantime, your Wood, Light, and Dark Odins will still be useful in your team at EVO2 while you wait for the final copy. EDIT: Make your 5stars EVO2 without using copies - use the evolution material mons instead. This way you only need 1 original and 3 copies of any 5star to make an EVO3.

true, i still use my evo 2 wet arthur as an effective wave clearer in golem b10 on lvl 30 alongside a sapper, L odin, and another wave clearer :)

Could you explain why you want the squares for the gem enhancements? And is that preferable for all mons?
