  • Here is a way of recreating the famous 303 sound using only Ableton's stock plugins! Also creating macros to replicate the CUTOFF, RESONANCE, ENVELOPE, DECAY & ACCENT knobs that are found on a 303.

    What was the original sound/sample you started with? The first sound? Because I did all the programming exactly as shown. But I tried some acid stabs/synths from samplefocus but after the programming it absolutely doesnt sound like the endproduct you created.
    Your video is very clear and a good straight to the point guideance! You would really help me out with this one!

      its just plain "analog" instrument and he adjusted it's presets. Mine is working.

    Im new to ableton, how did you make 0:35 instrument rack that fast?

      Glad you found it, if anyone has the same question. I selected "Analog" and created a group (cmd+g) or (ctrl+g) that gives you the option to create Macros.
