Yeah, every design decision here is intentional and while it creates a very scene specific Celtic, for that particular use this is as close to screen accurate as it will get. He is really meant to go with Hiya's Grid Alien as evidenced by the following: a) the blades being shorter is intentional; they are meant to represent the moment he sliced Grid's tail and caused them to melt away after they came into contact with the blood. b) when Grid launched its acid at Celtic and hit him in the chestplate he removed not only most of it, but also the necklace and it very visibly is seen hitting the ground alongside the metal in one shot. Extremely good attention to detail on Hiya's part!
The mold of the battle damaged one does look longer to me, but while watching this I thought this up, the minis fighting the Neca alien queen with the mini aliens too.
This is yet another solid figure release on the part of Hiya Toys. However, it's unfortunate that the clip that's on the back of the battle damaged Celtic Predator is broken. Thanks again Spot!
@The Review Spot off topic question but has NECA's QC/plastic improved over the years I ask because I have been binge watching alot of your NECA reviews and Im thinking of picking up either there cloth 2018 Myers or the 2018 ultimate Michael.
Actually either is globally accepted as the way to pronounce the name, depends of where in history you trace back to pronunciation to, look it up, researching can be fun

You're very right about the head its more long gated on the battle damaged. I do prefer that. Again great review.

I don't get why you switch between pronunciations, despite the right and only pronunciation being (kel-tick).
