I had a similar problem with not being able to TEXT a message. Even though I'm using the same phone I signed up on Spark for, the only option I was seeing when I tap "contact" was to actually call them. However. I found that there are the three little dots (...) On the top right hand corner, and when I clicked on that it gave me the option to MESSAGE the number. It did not come up with the automatic messages, but I have set up a text shortcut to say "I have your Walmart order and am on my way. ETA in mins ...." Then I can just type in my "wm" shortcut and add "7" or "10" or whatever and send the message. This is on an Android phone. Hope this helps someone 😊
In rural areas, where a customer lives at a rural, isolated address for a delivery, I have had the Spark app not call out due to no signal. That is the only time I have had that issue when calling customers on Spark. Also, not everyone knows Walmart is headquartered in Bentonville, AR, which has a 479 area code, so they think it is a spam call while it is the driver. Doordash uses area code 650 for their drivers for Silicon Valley, CA, but sometimes, both apps might not generate a phone number from those area codes.
Great points about the area codes as some won't answer for that reason alone. 😃 City folks have a differnt mentality about deliveries over Rural for sure. 💯🐄
I believe he is talking about before delivery? As in when you're still getting your car loaded perhaps? I know I can't contact the customer via text or phone until AFTER I am ready to start the delivery. Just a thought. Thanks for the vid, love them.
Yesterday I had 2 Shop and Delivers for $30/ each and on top of that $50 for 5 incentive, there was so many orders I had my pick of them, I managed to get all 5 done within 2 hours.
Yeah customers rarely answer the phone on any of the apps. I think it usually comes up as an out of state number so they assume its spam. No more after dark Spark for me either. Seems like I get a lot a tip baiters after dark. I still don't think it's always customers doing the tip baiting. I think some of these late in in the day orders that haven't been picked up get fake tips added so they'll get delivered. Just my hypotheses. 😎
I also cannot see the busy times in the zone section. This quit working about the same time as the contact customer info stopped showing up. I have uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that fixed the issues but no luck.
My app is the same way. It will not let me contact customers. I had those options when I first started a while back, but they went away a month or so ago.

Could be. I don't have any suggestions for that! Thanks K W🌞

Glad to hear I am not alone. Thanks for being here and sharing Dan.

I would contact spark and put in a trouble ticket 🎟 They are going to say.... download the latest app, but there maybe 👀 to it?
I don’t want customers having my phone #. They’ll call for other drivers that messed up.
😆 I can see that as a concern for sure!
