Hi Pops! Thank you for taking me back to Puerto Rico!! You did better than me. Me and my husband also visited the Bacardi plant😂 I also voted you would not go through the tunnel 👊🏽
Hi Pop, I’m glad you are in my island and having fun. Do Visit El Yunque and hike to el Pico de Los Picachos, you’ll love it. Big fan of you and your son. By the way, I’m also afraid of heights.
There is a ferry from the town of Cataño into Old San Juan docking pier. I think it is only 25 cents round trip for seniors! You will avoid serious traffic getting into San Juan.
I have wanted to tour that fort for decades! It is amazing, I had no idea the scope of it! As soon as I saw that tunnel, simultaneously as you asked, I thought, "I'll have to go if I want to see what is in the other end" 😂
HELLO POPS, I HOPE YOU HAD A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING .WHAT AN INTERESTING PLACE MY FAVORITE WAS THE SITE YOU GOT WHEN YOU LOOKED THROUGH THE GUN HOLES AND SAW THE BEAUTIFUL WATER WITH ITS MANY SHADES.LASTLY THE FORTRESS WALLS WHERE IM SURE VERY INTIMIDATING TO PIRATES AND ENEMY OF THE DAY.AS USUAL LARRY FROM LONG ISLAND
Somehow I totally missed the walking path around the base of the fort when I visited, and it actually leads back to "Puerta de San Juan" which I also visited and didn't noticed that it connected to the fort.
I highly recomend driving from San juan to El yunque and doing the ATV tour. I mentioned this under one of josh's video but understandably didn't get a response. He gets tons of comments. I also recomemd the next time your near Massachusetts or Connecticut to visit block island. You guys could easily make a video there.
No problem you can either take a slow ferry or a twin jet ferry to get there. Last summer the high speed ferry was around $60 or $65 per adult. I rent a scooter for all day and it's even difficult to see everything. There's native American history there beautiful beaches and you can even walk down 120 steps to a beach with cliffs all around it. There's tons of shopping and good restaurants. There's also a hike called Rodman's hollow that takes you through a African plain/savanna looking landscape to a beautiful scenic overlook. I generally take the first ferry in and the last home around 8:10. One of the places you can catch the high speed ferry from is new London CT. There's also multiple light houses and para sailing and fishing charters.
History time with Pops, I love it! Really appreciate the wonderful overviews and research time you put in on these videos. thank you!
I wouldn’t mind visiting during non hurricane season. 👍
I guess it’s pretty scary then. Thx for watching!
What a beautiful view from the fort. That would never get old.
Thx for watching! It is a cool spot.

I think it’s time they receive statehood if that is what the citizens want👍🏼
Yeah not sure what the barriers are.
