- Mellody Hobson and George Lucas, of the George Lucas Family Foundation, U.S.A., accept the Carnegie Medal of Philanthropy at the New York Public Library on October 16, 2019. Quoting his beloved character Yoda, Mr. Lucas encouraged the audience to embrace the light side of “The Force” - compassion - versus its darker twin, selfishness. In emotional remarks, Ms. Hobson, added that the couple’s philanthropy reflected their view that they are merely “stewards of society’s money” repaying the debt that they owe for their good fortune.
Every time I hear Mellody speak, her words make my heart swell with pride and inspiration. I can't wait until she writes a book. Maybe I'll finally get to meet her at her book signing. *Fingers crossed*

Always wanted to know just how they met after all these amazing and wonderful years I just never ever knew the story behind their everlasting love & marriage I must say I never ever knew a love story quite as amazing and as wonderful as theirs and it's safe to say chances are I'll probably never ever know at my age funny how time slips away and before you know it you're old and gray .Thanks Melody & George Lucas ❤️
