Music taste is a personal thing. High talent is something objective and Gaga has it in spades. She's clearly in a class of her own, closest thing to an artistic genius of our times and probably a one-off in all of music history.

Honestly even in Bad Romance she is showcasing immense vocal talent, it can just sometimes be hard to look/hear past pop production, but this level of vocal ability isn't anything new, as I've learned after sort of writing her off earlier on. I promise if you revisit her older stuff you'll think you're crazy for not realizing how much talent she has (like I did haha)

Julie Andrews commented on Lady Gaga wanting to do The Hills Are Alive in its original key...the key that J A sang it in...saying Why would you want to do that?? It's so high!...So Lady Gaga did just that...and blew everyone away :)

The tributes she was requested to do Steve Wonder Elton John Sting Carol King David Bowwie The greatest song writers of the last 50 years all respect her so much
Tony Bennett says she's got the best voice of anyone he's worked with And Bruce Springsteen Said he wish he had written Bad Romance Barbra Streisand gave Her blessing for A Star Is Born & she's known as not being generous to vocalist especially if they are doing something she's recorded There's nothing she can't sing and there's nobody out there that can do what she does .
If Bruce Springsteen Said he wished he had wrote something I had It would be on my tomb stone for sure

I was late to the Gaga party (2 young kids made the past 9-10 years kinda a blur...), but once I actually had the time to sit and listen I was astonished. I really believe she's the most talented performer of my lifetime. Pop queen, country star, Hollywood musical goddess....her versatility is unrivaled. She can also write, dance and play. It will be a while before we see anybody like this again, so I'm enjoying every second of her.

Gaga was professional trained. Don’t feel bad. I reacted the same way. Pretty much everyone did. She is so talented. She always surprises us. A Star is Born with Bradley Cooper sealed the deal for me. If you think this is great check out her tribute to Tony Bennett. He is her idol. If you noticed the tattoo of the trumpet on her right inner arm that was her honor to him who she idolizes. She is stunning in that.Great reaction.....Judy D

That was at the 2015 Oscars. In 2016 Lady Gaga returned with a very different song, "Til It Happens to You" which she co-wrote for the documentary The Hunting Ground which dealt with the issue of campus rape in the U.S. ruclips.net/video/0rufPMisw4o/видео.html

I know you don't take reaction requests from those who don't pay you, but for your own edification, I'll suggest you also check out her singing of the Superbowl National Anthem. She also does acoustic versions of many of her pop songs that are equally amazing.

Gaga is a classically trained vocalist and pianist. She gained early entry to Tish based on her talent. Try listening to her talent show appearance at Tish. It begins with "Captivated". Also, her acoustic version of "Applause" on Sukurri is sublime.

Lady Gaga can sing wherever she wants. Is hard for people to like lady Gaga specially for her way to dress or makeup but. We can’t say’s she’s not talented. She is very talented and is normal if people doesn’t like her. I like so many different artists but to be honest many of them needs help to sing. I went to enigma show at Vegas and she left me speechless so awesome voice.

Lady Gaga is a bit of a chameleon when it comes to her looks as well as her singing... She can change from pop, to rock, to jazz just with a click of her fingers! As for her looks....she constantly changes her make up, clothes and hair, I'm surprised anyone knows what she really looks like! You are missing out on alot of musical delights from her... There is her tributes to Sting, Stevie Wonder, and Carol King, her Royal Variety performance of Million Reasons, her La vie en rose performance (the pink dress performance is my favourite), her rendition of the US national anthem at the Super Bowl, her Lush life performance and her Bang Bang performance...Her New York New York rendition for Frank Sinatra... All of her work with Tony Bennett, her a Star is Born work.... There are way too many to name.... If you think this performance was good, you are in for a treat! She truly is one of the best of the current generation of singers!

If you are going to look into lady Gaga, you need to react to Til it Happens to You at the Oscars 2016. It’s her song about sexual assault and rape. Such strong vocals and very emotional. Even if you choose not to react to it, at least watch it so you aren’t missing out. Or watch anything from A Star is Born, her movie. Those vocals are all incredible and crystal clear

You should react to her jazz album with Tony Bennett Cheek to Cheek. And her songs on the A Star Is Born Soundtrack(she wrote and produced all the songs and starred in the movie). In particular: I’ll Never Love Again, Always Remember Us This Way, La Vie En Rose, Is That Alright?, Look What I Found. They all have great vocals. She has also done a ton of incredible covers like I Wish by Stevie Wonder, If I Ever Lose my Faith by Sting, King of Pain with Sting, Orange Colored Sky, Come Together by the Beatles, Smile, and a bunch more.

The Sound of Music is a true story of the VonTrapp family. They turned Gayorg into Gayog and made him the strict parent and turned Maria into a nice person. Actually Gayorg was the nice person and Maria was strict person. Gayorg had 7 children from first Marriage, that's where the 7 children come in, in the movie. Then Gayorg and Maria had 3 kids, making the 7 into 10

Maualee, you worked in a radio station (was it a radio station that played music). Where is your knowledge concerning music, composers and singers, etc.? Actually, I was never interested in Lady Gaga. Her antics, her style and the fact that at my age I am not interested in what alot of the kids listen to today. Until, at a friends house, she had Lady Gaga with the Muppets. It took less than 5 seconds to recognize how gifted she is. Looked her up, internet and all that, and read where she was classically trained and it does show when she performs.
While I have your attention I want to touch briefly on Diana Ankudinova. I know you have said she has a good voice but it sounded weird, in fact you mentioned it so often one commentator suggested, "why react to her if you don't like her voice". You might not like her because she is what is referred to as a true contralto (I do love educating young people when it comes to music) and you just don't like contralto's. As a comparison (not trying to change your likes or dislikes here) try listening to Cher or even better Marian Anderson who Toscanini called "a voice that comes along once in one hundred years". youtube.com/watch?=2bytFrsL4_4 Also you might like listening to one of the short biographical videos featuring Marian Anderson.

I have not had a come to Jesus moment when it comes to her Gaga-ness. However there is a singer that has made a song she wrote and performed with Bradley Cooper and turned it from a song I loathed to one one I look forward to hearing. That singer had a hello world moment about a week ago that is Daneliya Tuleshova!! When I saw that she had made a cover of that song I thought maybe she could work her magic and make it palatable. She did more than that, she turned it into a song I listen to at least 1 to 2 times a week. If you want to hear a young lady that knows how to sing a song. Find Daneliya's version, you won't be sorry.

Have you watched the movie a star is born staring lady gaga and Bradley Cooper? Maybe check that out. The performances in there are sung live and she wrote the songs/soundtrack also.

The people who first introduced us to Lady Gaga were clueless. They dressed her up and made her a stage puppet and a lot of people just never gave her a second look. The woman can sing!

She was on The Howard Stern Show. It was a great interview and she performed a couple of beautiful songs.
Worth checking out. Here is one of the songs from that episode. ruclips.net/video/r0X7PodqDSE/видео.html
