    2002. Terminal 3's construction was always stop and go due to constant anomalies involving the contract to build it. 20 years later, it is now fully operational.

    happy to see laoag intl airlines fokker and ceb pac dc9 in operation during their time. we have each of them in our training school

    This is amazing and timeless footage. To think, I wasn't even born yet at the time. It's also nice seeing how T3 took shape, reminding me of how old the terminal really is infrastructurally

    Air Phil 737s and Cebu Pacific's DC-9s the first planes I saw when I was still a small child in Dumaguete. I also remember seeing that Aboitiz YS-11 everytime I go to RPVM

    Wow nice vid! Cebu Pacific still has it's old Aircraft and livery. I wish that they could use this for aircraft that are landing again since they only use it for takeoffs now.

    Nice nostalic video. Never knew that NAIA Terminal 3 wasn't completed back then. Its also nice to see a PAL Boeing 737 aircraft when they still have it. 😅 and also the Nayong Filipino 😅

    Laoag Air and Asian Spirit were still operating. I was still flying as a pilot at this time with a small ministry located at Olympic hangar. This must be before 2006 when the A320s started to arrive.

    I was born July 2002, i always wondered what the Philippine aviation looked like back in my birth year. Amazing to see runway 13-31 highly utilized both arrival and departures. Glad this footage came along!

    I remember back then when I was a kid going to Nayong Filipino, I always get scared when I see DC-9 of Ceb Pac and Boeing 732 of Air phil. Those two were crazy loud aircrafts. and for the last clip, that's Mactan International Airport

    Great footage! And they land the jets at 13 during daytime! Nowadays jets only land there at night when 0624 is closed.
    And the pilots also taxi fast 😂😂😂

    I remember in the same year going in terminal 1 I dont know but i remember seeing is a Lux Air plane and my first time to see a kid with blue eyes and to see terminal 3 not in use, my father calls it the German Airport lol

    Thank you for this video Sir Ron, at least I have an overview what's PH aviation around early 2000s. As someone being born in 2004 I may have the first flight at around 3 months, but the one that I know that I have flown on is the time PH is slowly being an Airbus country. That's all!

    If this was still here to one would find out the Taiwanese South Koreans and Hong kongers actually using this Runway for their A321-251N CX🇭🇰/OZ🇰🇷 A321-271N CI🇹🇼 while the larger A350-900/-1000 B777-300er B777-200er simply used the longer Runway 6/24
