  • Sandra Bartolomeu Pires gives an overview of the progress achieved so far in research and also exciting new studies on the horizon.
    Sandra has been a nurse for 13 years working in varied long-term care and acute settings and for the last seven years has worked as a research nurse at the University Hospital Southampton, leading on different Huntington's disease studies as well as other neurological conditions.
    Sandra is also a PhD candidate at the University of Southampton, and her own research aims to improve care and services for people living with Huntington's disease.
