Ah yes! The old hot rod Sanitaire! And thanks for the shoutout! That was a fun project for sure! Took quite a bit to get it to this point, but I’m happy with the way it turned out! Yep, that brushroll was not easy to find, but with it, it’s now a monster on carpets 😊

This machine definitely looked odd to me it made sense when you said you had to source most of the parts to get it back together again it’s a shame considering how rare these are but atleast it works. I was impressed that you found an old square end brush roll for this thing I hear those are impossible to find I’m hoping one day I can find one of these old 70s sanitaires to add to my collection the only one I’ve come across is a model 685 which I’ve never heard of but it exists when it comes to yours however i want to say it is a 1973-74 since it’s a later model 641.
