Yeah, but when the Oil crisis hit, they put a lot of sissy motors in the dodge diplomat police "cruisers". My Uncle had a 71 Dodge Charger R/T with the 440 magnum. He was 19-20 in 1979, he would go out cruising just hoping to run across a cop or two and blow their doors so they could chase him. He'd out run them and beat them home. Rt 50 WV, between Parkersburg and Clarksburg WV. Him and my dad had a friend that had a newer trans am 79 or 80 and they raced from Morgantown to Moon PA on I-79, my dad was following with a 69 roadrunner, didn't see them till he got to moon haha. In that Charger, my uncle going from moon back to WV, came across a 1980 Z28, they wanted to race him, my dad in the back and Robin (their friend) in the front went to the next mile marker then the race was on, that Z28 didn't stand a chance, blew the Z28 away sparks and smoke flying out the back because it burnt rich. If I am correct, went to the next interchange and got off just to make sure the motor to blow. Guys in the other car were waving/haning out the windows because it was such a beast of a car. My uncle shortly wrecked it while going to see some girl, who he married, had a kid with, and divorced in about 1 year or so. Sad to see that car go. Now he has a 72 Charger with a 360. Still a beast.

400 cases of Coors beer would fit in a Ryder truck.
18 wheelers haul 20-24 or so pallets of beer, each one holds 100 cases--20,000+ cases or so.
    Now you know.
I have a friend who drinks 2 cases of Molson every day. He saw a sign that read, 'Drink Canada Dry.' He's been at it ever since.

Your joke is pretty funny. However, a few years ago, I was putting in a new fence line on my mom's property, and found a bunch of those gallon sized "Sutter Home" bottles, and I put on the fog line on the road next to me. The neighbor responsible for said bottles drove by at that time, and I couldn't help but see a sheepish look on his face, when I pointed out the quarter mile's worth of bottles I lined up on the road. He was a good sport about it though.

East bound and down, loaded up and truckin',
We're gonna do what they say can't be done.
We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there.
I'm east bound, just watch ol' "Bandit" run.
Keep your foot hard on the pedal. Son, never mind them brakes.
Let it all hang out 'cause we got a run to make.
The boys are thirsty in Atlanta and there's beer in Texarcana.
And we'll bring it back no matter what it takes.
East bound and down, loaded up and truckin',
We're gonna do what they say can't be done.
We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there.
I'm east bound, just watch ol' "Bandit" run.
East bound and down, loaded up and truckin',
We're gonna do what they say can't be done.
We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there.
I'm east bound, just watch ol' "Bandit" run.
Ol' Smokey's got them ears on and he's hot on your trail.
He aint gonna rest 'til you're in jail.
So you got to dodge 'im and you got to duck 'im,
You got to keep that diesel truckin'.
Just put that hammer down and give it hell.
East bound and down, loaded up and truckin',
We're gonna do what they say can't be done.
We've got a long way to go and a short time to get there.
I'm east bound, just watch ol' "Bandit" run.
