  • “When you are changed as a person, you cook differently,” chef Kristen Kish, winner of “Top Chef” Season 10 told Salon’s D. Watkins. Kish, who has worked in several professional kitchens and is chef/partner of Austin’s Arlo Grey restaurant, explains how filming her National Geographic show, “Restaurants at the End of the World,” gave her a fresh perspective on food and cooking. Kish traveled to remote restaurants in Brazil, Panama, Norway and Maine and learned from local cooks and ingredients. Chef Kish also talks about handling conflicts in the kitchen and her cooking journey post-"Top Chef” win.

I enjoyed the series so much. Not only is Kristen a great chef she is also a joy to watch because of her natural people personality and love of food and community connection. Such a beautiful person.
