Michael was recently installed as Grace Marin's Pastor. Before that, he spent eight years as a bi-vocational minister, splitting his time between his ministerial roles at Grace Marin and being a full-time insurance professional. Michael loves to think about how business intersects with the gospel. Michael earned a PhD in OT from Golden Gate Baptist Seminary. He is a contributor to the new Zondervan NIV Study Bible and has published a book of academic research on the Psalms entitled The Return of the King. He has preached and taught at churches, seminaries, and prisons on four different continents in both English and Spanish. Michael was Pastor of Red Hill Church in San Anselmo before combining with Grace Church of Marin in November 2020. He enjoys being outdoors, keeping up with European soccer, working around the house with his wife, Elizabeth, and trying to keep up with his four daughters, Eleonora, Elodie, Eloise and Elsa.
