- Uptown Saturday Night is one of my favorite album covers of all time, so its no surprise that the painting it was based on is my favorite painting ever. For this video I decided to go into the history of The Sugar Shack by Ernie Barnes and a little bit about what makes it great to me.
I decided to talk about a Hip-Hop adjacent topic this week rather than music itself, I'm not sure if the experiment totally works but it was worth a shot.

Similar to this, consider a longer video on Rammellzee, he's so important to the culture and not enough people know him. Beat Bop, Wildstyle & graffiti, Afrofuturism, his exploration of letters & language etc. Thanks for the video!
Thank you! And great idea on a Rammellzee video, I’ve actually only first heard of him recently but I’ve been fascinated by his art and story ever since.
