    I have seen this rotation trick at least FOUR times on AMC/AIME historical problems. Since this is Problem 24, it only takes me 24 seconds (especially I have seen it before). No joke.

    I know this from coffin problems. And I’m pretty sure there was a similar question on a previous AIME exam.

      Yes. He actually made a video on an extremely similar problem in 2002 AIME. I think it was number 13. Look at his channel for it.

    I have a doubt in problem 9 in 12A. The solution by aops says 5 but 2 solutions would be actually asymptotes and actual solution should be 3.

      Try the question, the solution will give 5 results but 2 of them would be Pie by 2 and 3 pie by 2 which would give not defined answers so actual solution should be 3

      The apps page doesn’t say that any solutions appear on the asymptotic lines. They’re saying that there’s a solution strictly between every pair of asymptotic lines.

    There was a question in which we had to find the diagonal to nearest approximation . I think answer is 0.4. question was Q16 i think
