Wow very informative video. This video gives all questions - answers about ev Charing cost. Also it's a good reply to automotive youtuber who says charging outside is equally cost as a petrol car. Thanku for this video
Good video. Suggestions for future 1) Add time also in your excel sheet 2) Mention your speed, road condition and driving mode/condition 3) Mentioning charge gain was good, please mention KW gain as well (will help us understand the rate) 4) Call out the charger speed as well in the sheet, 5) Try to add more clips from the real world drive, those candid conversations were good. All the best for future. Good stuff bro!
We did a different route, Pune, Solapur, Vijaynagar, hosapete, chitadurga Bangalore, the route was much better, and the charger density of lower, but was much more effective…
Yeah, that route is more scenic, but there's only 1 fast charger in a JioBP petrol pump between Solapur and Chitradurga (420km). And if that doesn't work for any reason, so other fast charging options.
Great Video Prashant! Your tips are especially very useful. Have seen many videos on EV’s, but hadn’t heard about the Plug share App. Will surely use it while planning my next long trip. I have the Curvv EV same colour as yours :-)

Glad you found it useful! Bangalore to Pune is definitely a popular route, I'll add it to my list which has Bengaluru to Goa and Bengaluru to Mangaluru.
I don't understand one thing.... Why on earth are they putting up "coming soon" charging stations in their maps? I mean apart from looking at it and drooling it will only cause confusion while going on a trip. 😢
Yes you have to stop at a restaurant which has a charger. But majority of the times when I take my creta , I end up confused about where to eat on the highway and end up skipping one restaurant after another just based on the external appearance of the restaurant. That would make us delay lunch break by about 35-50 mins just searching for an acceptable restaurant . To avoid this, we started planning the route to find a good restaurant to stop at. Now I realise that's not any different than ev route planning
@@rexster76 well I'm still learning what works for everyone, there were others also who mentioned the same. So trying new ones without any music and is lesser work for me as well :)
You saw a video about a guy successfully traveling long distance snd taking the same amount of time as an ICE, yet you think it's not the future? Lmao clowns in the comments 🤡
Great video! Really helped clear up some misconceptions about planning trips on EVs
Glad it was helpful!
Good video thanks for sharing. A 7 months old punch lr ev owner adjust have done 23k kms

Nice information about your curvy E V . By TIGOR ev owner ❤
Glad you liked the video and thanks for the love for our fellow EV owners!
Why did you get such a low range of around 300 km?
I drove in sports mode with regen off, AC set to 22-23 and constant high speed.
@CarTechTravel High speed means around 110kph?
Nice
which app did you use to show 3d view of car travelling on the map?
The app is called TravelBoast, it is available on Play Store.
I don't understand one thing.... Why on earth are they putting up "coming soon" charging stations in their maps? I mean apart from looking at it and drooling it will only cause confusion while going on a trip. 😢
Haha each charging App does that, I guess they need it for their database, but if they could always filter them out by default, that would be great!
The problem with taking a highway drive with an EV is that you are forced to eat at restaurants that have a charger.
Yeah, you have to be a little strategic, especially on longer journeys, but it’s still more fun than sitting in traffic!

Curvv 45kwhr or 55?
It's the 55kw, thanks for asking, I had missed to mention that!
@CarTechTravel thanks for the quick reply. Please continue making these videos. They provide the actual real world information which is quite rare.
Glad you found it useful!
mahindra be6 will grab all ev market they will have 680km top range. if its give 600 km it will be huge.
Yeah, that's a good range for sure, but real-world driving conditions will affect those figures.
hi Chhatisgarh se ho kya? Im from bhilai..
Yup! Chattisgadhiya sable badhiya :)

This video shows that EVs are not the future
With the improving charger infrastructure, and newer cars with higher range, long trips or city driving, both are becoming more comfortable in EVs.
