Today is our last day to spend together for a few days before Lay goes off on a girls holiday with her sister, so we went around today and took so local transport near eastwood in Manila where I nearly fell in the river.! It was a good funny last day we spent together!

That river boat crossing definitely rocks! Why would anyone want to take a taxi, which costs more & takes longer? Ok, maybe if it is raining buckets... but, I'd probably still take the boat, with an umbrella, rather than sit in traffic (I lived & worked in Los Angeles for many, many years - I'm done with sitting in traffic).
Note: When you two go to Bangkok, do not forget to try using the Chao Phraya Express boats, as well as the canal water taxis!
Looks like Tom found a simple & inexpensive solution to his Filipino food aversion - just eat at Lay's mom's place! :)

The mosquitoes which are carriers of dengue virus do not like to live in dirty water. They prefer clean water like rain water or water stored in containers without cover.

Such huge spoons. My jaw aches looking at it ..😢😢😢 well it's better than those tiny spoons that make you paddle like a mad man to get a decent amount of food in your mouth and way. I see lay is not liking to be separated from him for too long..I see that when they talk about it .but hey ..things are ok . Tom banana heart (puso ni saging) is/can be used as a meat substitute in vegie/vegan world (not mine 😉) There was big demand awhile back in the UK as it was getting bought for fish and chips as the fish meat substitute
So wish the national and local governments would do far more to clean up those rivers.

The trouble was, we were in the U.S. at the time and there were no green mangoes to be found. I wasn't trying to tie that to Lay, I was just sharing my experience with my Filipina wife and green mangoes, nothing more.
