This is such a great series because photo projects are so easy to put off and then of course they become overwhelming. You did a great job of sorting through everything!
It is a great idea to nominate 1 day a month to this. I worked on photos day after day for weeks and in the end I just put all he photos in nice boxes and put away. I got so overwhelmed I thought nope not now. 😂

I’m going to have to buy a lot of those photo page inserts to be able to put all my photos away SOME DAY! Haha I like the digital way of doing things for FUTURE tho.
You did great for an hour. My plan is to just sort into years, and eventually digitize them so I can display with photo slideshows on the eframe things.
Hey friend! I’m so sorry that I missed this comment. Sometimes I get backed up and the comments get lost in the bunch. That sounds like a great idea to digitalize the photos. It definitely saves space in the long run.😀
My safety plan for digital is to have a copy on an external hard drive in the fire safe, and 1 copy off site somewhere. I'm still debating between paying for storage somewhere and just getting another hard-drive and asking my brother to keep me at his house.
Another wonderful idea! I knew I really need to get my digital back up photos organized. I do pay for storage but sometimes that still makes me nervous. @@Sunnyinthesuburbs rightnow I'm paying for google storage, and I wonder how much they look at or how safe it is. I used to have Carbonite, and thar worked well. I used it on more than 1 occasion when computers died. But they don't cover external hard drives, and I wound up with a computer with zilch for memory, and started using Google drive to store everything at that point.
You are so lucky you are doing this when your kids are still young and figuring out how you wanna store things. Just make sure you don’t start saving every little thing and end up like me with multiple big giant tubs for every single one of your kids, including you and your husband. My entire garage is full of Momentos. It is literally insane and now that I have saved it all for so long my husband is the one who’s having a hard time getting rid of it. 🤦🏽♀️
