I have an angel food cake pan and it’s been ages since I’ve made anything in it! I’m going to have to dig it out and give this recipe a try! We aren’t big cake eaters so the smaller portion is actually quite appealing to me haha 😅 thanks for sharing and putting this collab of cool desserts together!

Oh I love this! We used to eat angel food cake a lot when our was a kid because it was super simple and yummy. I’m going to have to try and make this 😊

I’m trying to figure out why your cake didn’t rise. The only thing I can think of is to ask if you used cake flour or AP flour. The recipe calls for cake flour which allegedly results in a lighter fluffier texture. Either way I’m glad it tasted good! 🍒

Clarissa this looks delicious! I love vintage recipes, I also collect vintage cookbooks which are so neat to see how they cooked way back when. My oldest cookbook goes back to 1907, 117 years ago. I’ve seen vintage recipes that have done the same thing with adding ingredients in a certain order and some recipes were very intricate because they didn’t have the conveniences we have in the kitchen today. I love the recipe you choose and 1800’s is definitely vintage! Thanks for hosting another fun collaboration! ❤️❤️

I love block scheduling. I'm definitely someone who thrives on sticking to specific schedules, definitely get more done efficiently that way. I don't homeschool but still utilize things like this when it comes to our home routines.

I love my little caffeine hits too lol and I love it all, coffee, energy drinks, give me more energy! LOL So I try to do a bit of a rotation throughout the week and have a coffee one day (usually when I am home so I can brush my teeth right after I'm done), an energy drink the next (usually on days when I am out and about), and then I also take an energy boosting supplement on days when I don't have the others! tee-hehe.

I love this! I am still trying to plan out our schedule. It's hard with working and trying to juggle all the things. So I'm really thinking this will be so helpful.

😆 Oh, hail no... you just tidied that! Time to install a lock on the door. 2 sets of sheets per bed is great for your 'sunny' climate. I have 2 light and 2 heavy for each because Canada. We only have 2 beds though; if there were more I'd probably have to pare it down.

Great insight! I’m still figuring out our schedule as we go and adjusting as needed. We have more subjects this year so it’s hard fitting it all in and helping where needed. I’ve been doing 1 on 1 days with the older two alternating days and getting the other one to work on independent work on those days. It helps break up our days and helps us all not get overwhelmed. I’m still trying to find time to best fit my daughter’s preschool stuff in daily or more than once a week. 😊
