I’m watching from Italy. I was born and raised in London lived there for 33 years… watching your videos reminds me of the good old days. Plus you are a sincere person and seem down to earth. You take care and be safe. Oh I’m from saf London! 😊
Me: hears siren in video.. "it's kicking off mate" London Eats: "kicking off mate" Me: 😂🤣😂🤣 I've got so used to hearing it in the videos I have to say it out loud 😂
Funny as I saw the crane and was telling my wife about it as I'm a crane operator and you said there's bound to be a crane op watching 🤣. Love the vid's Been watching for years 👍
I'm in a smaller town outside of Montreal, and E-scooters or borderline legal in downtown. but Ebike on the other hand are more than welcome as they are adding more and more bike paths and bike lanes.
1:19 Top man for the thermal bags! I have lost count the amount of times my food has turned up cold because the delivery person had NO thermal bag at all - I wish restaurants would refuse to hand the food over unless the person collecting has a thermal bag.
Having 2 thermal bags with you while you're on the go, is useful if you coincidentally receive double pick-ups. And besides those can be unexpected. 👍🏼
London Ontario Canada here. We don't have any of the scooters but Toronto has the e-bikes to rent all over. Love your videos. It's always interesting to see what different countries do and have. Our food apps are Uber eats, door dash and skip the dishes.
It’s getting like a zombie apocalypse, I’ve had several people just walk out into the road in front of me, headphones in not paying attention good job I e seen them or they would have been over the bonnet.
To answer the question about why rental scooters are legal and the ones you buy in the shops aren't legal. It all comes down to insurance and having a car / bike license. To hire an e-scooter you need at minimum a provisional license. Also when you hire an e-scooter it covers insurance.
Greetings from 🇫🇮 . I have an electric scooter but it’s fitted with a seat coz I wanna make it more stable & won’t face plant. That bus incident sure gave me a fright. I actually yelled when I was watching it. He almost became a burnt flat pancake 🥞.
I am from the other side of town ( West London) moved out of London about a year ago, this country life aint that great! Ill be moving back hopefully soon. Love your vids man, Its so nice getting a dose of London life in the depths of the countryside.
Love the content as always! I'm from Oslo, Norway. We had an absolutely ridiculous number of e-scooters a few years back, but thankfully there are now limitations on how many of those company-owned rentable scooters there can be in the city.
@@50upss The ebikes in Oslo are nice. A service provided by Lime - but they are quite expensive to ride. Especially when public transport is so cheap in comparison.
I'm from Sydney, Australia. *Personal* e-scooters are actually illegal to use in the public - only allowed on private property. But they are trials ongoing now where you can ride e-scooters supplied from a shared e-scooter company in Wollongong, a coastal city south of Sydney. I don't know how's the trial going, but it would be nice for e-scooters to come to Sydney. There's only shared e-bikes you can ride.
I'm from Ukiah in Northern California near the Redwood Tree's. Actually surprised we don't have E-Scooters here, but it isn't a very big city to begin with.
Scooters are everywhere in Denver, Colorado. Super easy to find and I can get home from the bars for $4 at any time of night when it would cost 5x as much for an Uber.
To answer your scooter question, I'm in the Baltimore, Maryland (US) region. Here, electric scooters are legally in the same category that e-bikes are in (max throttle speed 20 mph), so people will use them to get around the city at night (even though the speed limits are slightly higher on the streets). You're not supposed to have scooters that go faster, and you're not supposed to ride them low-speed on sidewalks, but I see people doing those things too (including some electric scooters that go 35 or 40 mph)... and generally, no one enforces those issues.
In Montreal (Canada), they tried the e-kickscooter self-serve rental service (Bird Canada and Lime), but it ended up being problematic... lots of them dumped in the local canal, parked randomly on the sidewalks, clogging up parking spaces, etc. They had designated parking places, but only 20% of the e-kickscooters were parked there. The pilot project ended being abandoned. Now, a few years later, the electric personal mobility devices (I call 'em ePMDs) market has grown a lot, especially the Niu brand. People now own their e-kickscooters (I've seen some UberEats delivery guys on them, too!), so the city was forced to adapt. In the end, the provincial government has decided to establish laws and rules surrounding their use. Must wear a helmet. Cannot be faster than 30kph. Cannot be used on sidewalks. Can be used on roads where the speed limit is no greater than 50kph. Can be used on bike paths. Cannot carry a passenger on it. It's similar for the one-wheeled ePMDs, but a full helmet (face covered) and elbow and knee protection are also mandatory. (It's more dangerous, so more protection needed.) Bird Canada (one of the two that had done the initial pilot project for the self-serve rental service) is now saying they're planning a comeback. We'll see... (Notice I say kickscooters, and not scooters. Scooters are akin to mopeds, though not quite. I like to differentiate between the two.)
Already feeling that this is going to be a great video (have watched 2 mins so far) really a highlight of the week when you finish school and get to watch these great videos! 👍
World apart from my home town. Not even a food delivery service. And only two buses a day. Out in the morning. Back in the afternoon. To one location. And only one Taxi. Interestingly I was watching a London Hustle video when yours popped up. His format is so similar to yours. He started off watching you. Now I see has just pipped you with subscribers. It proves the style you created works.
This rent a e- standing Scooters are all around Reykjavík were I live .Every week (end) people are injuring them self often head injuries. This isn’t a vehicle for drunk people
Was driving around my small city in Finland and it was like that southpark episode about escooters. They were absolutely everywhere like an Alien invasion.
when i visited a trauma doctor last summer, he said, that in summer there are around 200 people per day after e-scooter accidents. So now the government thinking about e-scooter insurance
That is so cool to be able to send a message to the customer saying thank you for the tip because I am based in Bangkok and I use grab and never received a thank you message from a driver. I don't think there is an option for the drivers to send a message to the customer anyway.
Do you have any footage of how you mount and dismount your bike with the bag on the back? I have a very similar set up and I'm always tipping the bike so far that the drinks I have spill. Thanks!
@London Eats Would it be possible for you to make a video sometime in the future talking about how to get into Deliveroo, just eat, etc. and explaining everything such as zones and any tips or tricks that could be useful. I’m looking to do delivery as a side gig very soon so it would be massively helpful to have someone who is experienced explain and breakdown the whole gig. Thanks, If you if see this.
I'm from Glasgow, there's no escooters here & I doubt there will be cos the grannies hate them 😂 I was in Gothenburg and Odense over the summer and used them all the time, they were great fun. Those cities have good cycle paths.
im from greenwich and we get that all the time going to bermondsey but useally starts at like £6 and slowly goes up to like £8-£10 thats funny. just wanted to ask aswell what you think of greenwich area to work ? cheers
yes i have two e,scooters and there great one does 50 mph and the other does 34 mph but need a e,bike so i can start deliveries and im from liverpool were you done your orders the other day
i am from vienna and most of the e scooters are on the ground in the bushes or the city needs to fish them out of the Donau, because idiots throw them into the river. love your content. keep it up :)
suggestion - whenever you pick an order, i'd like to see what people are ordering and the restaurant place, also if it is an uncommon dish maybe u can display pics of the food, that would be more interesting to watch

always loving the ebike videos as i am ebike delivery rider myself. thanks for the content. much love
It must be way easier on the e-bike as you can use roads and routes that you can’t on the moped. New subscriber gained 👍🏻
I'm in a smaller town outside of Montreal, and E-scooters or borderline legal in downtown. but Ebike on the other hand are more than welcome as they are adding more and more bike paths and bike lanes.
Im in Spain, you have a hard life tramping the streets & working with the public, it reminds me of my Black Hack taxi days in Glasgow.
1:19 Top man for the thermal bags! I have lost count the amount of times my food has turned up cold because the delivery person had NO thermal bag at all - I wish restaurants would refuse to hand the food over unless the person collecting has a thermal bag.
yeah they are implementing slowly 😅
Having 2 thermal bags with you while you're on the go, is useful if you coincidentally receive double pick-ups. And besides those can be unexpected. 👍🏼

It's crazy how many people jump in front of buses in London, glad it wasn't you (having seen the title already 😂)
Folks jumping in front of vehicles is everywhere definitely
It’s getting like a zombie apocalypse, I’ve had several people just walk out into the road in front of me, headphones in not paying attention good job I e seen them or they would have been over the bonnet.
Can't wait your "kicking off" when a siren comes up :D

Wrocław, Poland - we have like 4 different brands of e-scooters and everybody are using them actively.
Greetings from 🇫🇮 . I have an electric scooter but it’s fitted with a seat coz I wanna make it more stable & won’t face plant.

The pop-up subtitles are getting a bit excessive :) Keep up the great content and nice to see you out on the ebike again.
Love the content as always! I'm from Oslo, Norway. We had an absolutely ridiculous number of e-scooters a few years back, but thankfully there are now limitations on how many of those company-owned rentable scooters there can be in the city.
E-scooters are so silly, e-bikes are a lot safer IMO

Love how you've covered up the screen so no one can see you doing 25mph after unlocking the speed limit lol
Bergamo (Italy) is full of rental e-Scooters and people use them a lot.
