I do indeed ware insulated chaps on longer rides in fall..spring.. and the very few winter rides i get here in Michigan... and nothing like an electric jacket to keep you warm and toasty... Ride safe and keep that beast on the ground....
I lived in LA for 17 years. Used to ride my bike everywhere. No heated anything. Froze my ass off soooooooo many times. Heated gear and a full face helmet these days is a must. Poor Sandy. LOL. We must keep the Professor warm and fuzzy...jajajajaja
I Live right there off of 611 on the Delaware River. I put 5k miles running up and Down the Delaware and its side Roads This year alone. Not including other trips outside this area. Some great rides and amazing places along there. Taking rt 80 to 611 and following that all the way south along 611 then River rd makes for one great day. You can take it all the way down to Philadelphia if you want. I like to Ride all the way down the Brians HD in Langhorne from Pocono Harley. On the way back I take the Jersey side and stop for some hot dogs at the famous Hot Dog Johnies before getting back to the PA side. Great area and why I left NJ (amongst other reasons).
That’s the way a ride should be where the audience can hear the motorcycle great ride glad you enjoyed it I enjoyed watching it because it was mostly motorcycle and you having fun without all that music
I ride until they salt the road about 15 degrees is the coldest I can recall. I have chaps and a heated vest and gloves. I switched to over pants that have a liner I can take in and out water proof wind proof. I ride to work almost everyday about 17 miles. Watch out for deer there been on those roads many times.
Been checking a lot of your videos lately, and makes me so envious as I’m stuck in the uk waiting to get back to Florida and ride my RGS. I have brought a GoPro Max to do the 360 videos, yours is the best channel that shows using a 360 cam on a Harley, can’t wait to see how mine will come out. Hopefully I will get up that way sometime and ride some of them roads, keep up the good work 👍 Btw, never wore chaps, I have ridden in very cold in Utah and Colorado and wore thermal long johns and Draggin Jeans (kelvin lined) which are very heavy duty and warm.
Hi John, like your ride videos, thanks! I like your Road Glide Special, but just looks unfinished without the front fender. I am sure it will look good when its wrapped, looking forward to seeing it. As I told Sandy in his last release, I like the chemistry between the two of you, keep it up!
That's my normal stomping grounds, try riding 32 all the way up to 611 past Easton PA and then into the PA water gap. Tremendous ride! Love the Channel!
Love new hope Pennsylvania #1 motorcycle destination in pennsylvania I ride there all the time coming from South Philly I have 2016 iron Custom Enjoy 🏍️👌🤟😎💯
I like videos that don't have the music, I like to hear the engines. My wife and I Live in northern Indiana, and are planning to ride our bikes to PA over memorial day weekend this year.
Loved the video. Go to New Hope 2xs a year. Family in that area. Just beautiful countryside. Bike looks great and Yes Chaps are a must if ur below 40. I ride all year long and they are a must on those cold days. Enjoy
I ride this route probably once a month. Some cool turnoffs into Frenchtown, NJ which is on the other side of the river. If you take it all the way to 611 the river then is on your right hand side. Great views.
Hey John great videos! I'm a Sayreville NJ native now in middle Tennessee. It's great to get to see some of the rides I miss up from up there. NJ PA, NY state. Especially the ride of this video. Thanks👍

Very nice. I wish I knew you were going there, it's not too far for me I would have rode out for a meet up. Hit me up next time when you head to the New Hope area. Joe
Nice!!! --- I have ridden/driven 32 about 2 dozen times over 50 yrs. --so here's a few tips on what you missed -- 2 miles south of New Hope is Washington's crossing park--and Bomans Tower ---worth the climb!!! Then, if you go further on 32 to 611 and Easton--that's cool to get thru --the city of bridges is right name--611 is great run --it gets better as you go north to Delaware water gap!!!!!!!! camping on Jersey side at Worthington state park--and then back over to 209 n. --Bushkill falls is worth a stop -- 209n. to Port Jervis to Woodstock area---my favorite ride!!!
Also, I wanted to tell you that the ‘bike path’ is called the tow path. It runs from Morrisville PA to Easton PA. Almost 60 miles. It was created in the 1800s so donkeys could tow coal up the canal by barge. The donkeys would walk on the towpath to tow the coal.
I definitely wear Chaps, also Polo Green, Jovan Musk, English Leather and who can forget Old Spice, Drakkar, High Karate, Stetson and Brut, by Faberge. Those were the days when men were men and the sheep were scared😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
there is some great riding all around there, I went off north of the delaware water gap on the New jersey side just east of the Pa Line there was a road I was on years ago when Trucking, it was spring the trees n flowers was in full glory sun shining, windows open and there on that 2 lane road was awesome farm land , very small towns, and such a beautiful end of a Trip that I remember it still to this day, just dont remember the road grhh, one road of very many thru the years, but my memory how beautiful day it was and I couldnt believe I was getting paid to enjoy a ride like that They don't call New Jersey the Garden State for nothing, man Brother that is a Beautiful ride your one , Ride safe brother
I wear chaps below 50 degrees. Loved the video without the music. Your bike sounded good. Beautiful scenery. Great video. Sandy's response when you ask how he was doing was hilarious.
I live in Southern California it doesn’t get that cold like back east where your from. But I definitely have a pair when I take off during the cold rides. I don’t give a rats ass what anyone thinks! So yes keep the Chaps!
Been riding on 20s, degrees heating gear glove and jacket with my leather on top but never chaps, no because I don't like them just because I use jeans with flannel under with my under armor gear so I don't need more to keep me warm, but I'm a fan of chaps so I'm getting some just in case
Harley guys doing a winding stretch of a 20 mile road stopping for breakfast. Meanwhile. Goldwing guys riding 1000 miles for tacos. Gotta love those expensive harleys for those 20 mile rides.
Epic Ride John! and I really like the bike without the fender! Frankly, I never even thought about it as an option and it looks pretty badass! Did you get anything coming up without the fender protection?
What are you using for a camera mount? I see little guys cam. Also is this one recording and trimmed down or multiple recordings ? I am using the insta 360 one r and trying to learn editing in the app. Have you used view finder ? That’s a cool feature for key points
Love the channel brother! I want to come from VA to meet up!. I got a 2018 Street Glide Special. Also, how do you cut that wind noise out from the GoPro?
I ride the new Hope and New Jersey side I probably ride that twice a week me and my girlfriend probably 3000 miles on them roads In the last four months we love them roads
