It’s amazing that she’s now a prominent KC 15 years on.

There is a sundial with a motto that reads "shadows we are and like shadows depart" to remind the residents of the ephemeral character of their occupancy. This sun dial was put up in 1686, and there is an entry in the accounts in respect of it which reads "25th Nov. 1686 Sun Dial in Pump Court £6.5.0." It is renovated periodically, and on each of these occasions it was customary for the year and the initials of the Treasurer for the time being to be placed in the centre of the dial.It was restored in 1861.

It is a pity the programme never dealt with law courses that include language skills and exposure to civil law systems.

PS: AS FAR AS THE BRITISH LEGAL SYSTEM IS CONCERNED, WHICH I AM ONLY PARTIALLY FAMILIAR WITH, SOME TYPE OF FORMULA MUST BE FOUND TO HAVE THE PROCESS STREAMLINED & OF COURSE HOW TO GRADUATE LAW SCHOOL W/LITTLE TO NO STUDENT DEBT. THIS IS A CRISIS PROBLEM IN ENGLAND & ACROSS THE POND SO TO SAY. IF YOU GO TO UC HASTINGS IN SAN FRANCISCO, CA, IT'LL COST YOU $45,000.00 A YEAR! GEEZ! THIS ISSUE NEEDS STUDY/ADDRESSING ASAP! IT'S A SERIOSU PROBLEM FOR LAW SCHOOL STUDENTS ESPECIALLY.

Rahul Kemp but it depends on the degree you got and also if the profession is in demand or not

@@rahulkemp6489 A really good degree is only the minimum expected of you though, from day one you need to engage with developing all your other skills

Law is the most difficult degree to get a first class in, from any uk university. It used to be very rare a few decades ago. It's more common these days, presumably the students work harder and the marking is more generous now.
