Thank you sm girly, I was watching your videos back in 2020 after submitting an application for NCL. 4 years later I've flown from Texas to Maryland, to Michigan, to Colorado, to California and Hawaii. I'm 24 now and back again to continue these adventures. Preparing for my next one!! 🛳️⚓
Hello and thank you for making this video! I currently have an interview next week and am very excited!! I am currently a Platinum Member on a certain Cruiseline and I also love retail! My husband is encouraging me to try this and he's even thinking about applying! I love helping people feel great about themselves and getting to know them!
Generally youtubers are either giving information for first timer cruise joiners or only pros to attract impressions but thanks for being honest about cons as well.Love from India
I’ve been thinking about working on a cruise ship for a while now, and I’ve been watching like every single video on RUclips on the subject. But I still had lots of questions that never got answered, until I came here. I absolutely love your videos and you answer every question I have, thank you!!
You get paid £600 a month and if you have a bad manger why will make you work every port day, 11hrs everyday for 6 months! Cleaning the storecupboards ect.. also working on table sales is HARD work, which you do when you are first employed and sometimes your whole contract
Cruising As Crew Keeping busy and out of trouble. Oh wait, no, that’s not right. There’s nothing to keep me busy, so I’m just causing trouble. That’s better 😁
Love your videos, Lucy! It's my dream to work on cruise ships, and you, talking about your experiences, fill me with so much motivation. So charismatic, fun, and interesting! What would you say are the most fun and boring jobs on a cruise ship? Greetings from Venezuela!
Heey, thank you so much. I am happy to hear you are enjoying my videos. Hmm that's a good question! I would say fun: entertainment staff and boring: cabin stuard maybe. However this depends on the person. That's just in my opinion xxx
Hi, Lucy! Thank for the amazing video ❤ I just applied for Harding as a Beauty Specialist. I have experience working for Steiner and hopefully I get the job 🤞🤞 Do you remember how long it took you to schedule an interview after applying?
Great videos! Glad you have kept your spirits up since your departure. Hopefully you will get back to sea soon. A couple of questions. As an employee of Harding, do you get all of the same on-board benefits as other crew members who are employed by the cruise line such as family discounts on cruises, food, travel arrangements, etc.? Also, do you have any safety obligations while on board the way that cruise line employees do such as being a safety warden? Thanks, and keep up the good work. I have a feeling that after cruising returns, a lot of former employees will not return to sea and the cruise industry will be looking for lots of employees. Your videos are a valuable resource for newbies looking to sign on.
Thank you James. Yes, we get all the same benefits as crew members who are employed directly by the cruise line. Yes, you will have safety obligations but they will be no different from the obligations crew have working in other departments. Thank you. Im glad you are finding them helpful. Xx
