So happy to see that his most famous varnam Viriboni is selected by Price Rama Varma for a program at the Kuthira malika/Thiruvananthapuram, just prior to the Music festival cutcheries. I have listened this sung by S.Aishwarya & S.Saundarya | Margazhi Utsavam 2022 /jaya TV .that reminded their Great Grand-mother - MSS Amma's 'srendition of the ame! Here Prince Rama Varma presented a lovely recital. [The town Mannargudi in Tamilnadu is referred to as Dakshina Dwaraka in Sanskrit. Its presiding deity is Krishna in the form of Rajagopala]
I am learning this varna now but was not getting motivation to practice after listening to this clip on loop i am feeling thankful to all those are cause for me to learn what i am ....my Guru, my parents🙏🙏 and here this instruments give extra enthusiasum thanks for sharing here guruji

Wonderful. This is 1St Kalam. 2nd Kalam konchem fast 50-60 and 3Rd Kalam fast 90-100. This is the system every one follows. Or some persons directly singing 3rd Kalam.

I think Syama Sastr's Swarajathi in Bhairavi "Amba Kamakshi" carries shades of this varnam. Correct me if i am wrong, sir.

Yes. Nobody really knows why. The entire Varnam has Sahityam too for the swarams, which also hardly ever gets sung.
