I love this video for a few reasons. A: Brian is introduced than stays in the back rocking away without a care in the world, which is awesome, than Mike literally shoving his microphone into Anthony's (is that the right twin?) mouth haha. But honestly, love both bands and love these songs.

Head's guitar strap fell off the second he came on stage. Thats crazy he made it the whole song holding his guitar to his body with his strap dangling on the ground.

Red and Head get the seal of approval from this redhead! Awesome that they got to play the Dove Awards alongside the more conservative musicians, but I bet some of them weren't too sure that it was Christian!
I always liked how they split up the screaming parts between Mike and Randy. Easier on Mike's voice that way, especially for full shows. It's a smart idea.
I've Heard a lot of comments about the audio from this specific video IDK as far as I know.....Anthony these days uses a Kemper..It's freakin crazy you don't even need to mic a cabinet anymore. Technology come a way specially in music and audio.. I could hear the guitars alright, but s** it may have been the orchestral section. Listening to Red for years incorporating the strings and stuff is a real staple in their music.; its real element..In this video it appears He was using a Mesa Dual rec. Ibelieve he's also used Splawn as well.. so The Orchestral Section may have been overpowering in the mix. I was explaining this to someone else but, usually in these situations the audio that you hear is coming directly from the "main console" Whether that be Front Of House or whatever..Then Straight into a Program "DAW" like Pro Tools. It's recorded in real time therefore whatever changes the Engineer makes as it applies to what he hears from the/his/hers mix position is completly their decisions based on his/her ears. Yes were all different, and achieving the "Perfect Mix" is far near impossible... So Yeah Unless they did some post processing in a studio this is directly live and not tampered with otherwise plus we gotta understand their making changes based on what they hear coming from the P.A. and every room is different this looks like some sort of Auditorium or Concert Hall..Definetly not your typical Staples Center, Georgia Dome S** (sorry Im in a bad mood), The acoustics in Colosseums and places like that are incredibly different less treated and such and have a tendency to produce more reflections. Out of an Audiotorium/Concert Hall I would expect the Mix to be quite Superior where the Acoustics "Really" matter..Arenas and Multi-Purpose Faclities just happen (or used to happen) were where most Concerts and paraphernalia took place so...As far as my preference in Amplification it's like women..You got amps that can really put out some Decibels and blow your brains out then you got amps that are real clean and get nice and buttery. Personally I like something with some curves (Pedal Platform Style) not too loud but not too soft and just the right amount of Midrange. 😉👍
