I'm working on that time machine, guys. I will get us all back home.
I know its just been a day, but how's that time machine going??
Ugh, thank you.
Ready when you are market slice lmk
I know it has only been 2 weeks, let us know if we can be of any help ya?
don't do that...
...don't give me hope
Man this was THE song back in the day...
U got that right.
I'm using my time machine to get back to when rock was roll. Know what I mean?
Hey can I use it too? I need to get back to 1998
nate hazel Hey Nate. I will tell you secret of time Travel. Here's what you'll need. #1. The hardware: Any device that replicates sound. #2. The software: A large amount of, records, tapes, CD's. #3. A CPU: Your imagination. With these three, you will be able to go to any time, or any place you desire. Even you yourself started as a thought in the imagination of your Dad, when he first saw
your mother. Well, there you have it Nate the
secret to time, space and the universe. Now you can go any where. But just don't come
to my house, because I'm trying to make out
with a cute little cantaloupe I met in the grocery store today. What can I say dude,
Watermelons need love too. See you out there in the theater of the mind.
Thank you, I'm gonna get started on it right now
Man ! Sugar Ray is just one of those groups that give me so much 90s and y2k nostalgia.. it’s such an equally amazing and depressing feeling . We can’t go back and you just had to be there to know why it’s so missed ❤😢
Bad idea going back here
Right, let's enjoy Tik Tok stupidity, widespread depression and suicidal ideas, the loss of freedom of speech and thought, and 2 million dollar townhouses.@@anaruggieri4247

I'm 52 and stuck in 1998 in my mind. This really captures that happier time.
this is Summer 2001
@@TDTam11 - You say that as though they wrote, "I remember when this song came out in 1998". Sugar Ray had four big hits from 1997 to 2001, and they all had a similar sound and feel. I think for most people, if a specific Sugar Ray hit reminds them of a "happier time" and/or year, then any other SR hit is going to give them at least some of that same vibe.
@@TDTam11fuck ya it was!!!!!
You're not alone brother.
You're 53
This is actually a 2000s song (2001). The late 90s vibes were still kicking
90s vibes carried into the early 2000s up till about 2002.
I’d say about 2003 and it died sometime during 2004
The 90s were heroin and grunge. This is rainbows and lollipops. Not even close
@@Billy.Ripken Grunge was dead by mid 90s, this lasted well into 2000s.
@@dblooder this was never a “vibe”. This was music for gay men and fat girls. Don’t try and tarnish the 90s with this shit. Roy Orbison made music for a gazillion years. Doesn’t make it good

I personally think this group was the coolest from the 90'S.
They are the 90's babe!
Sugar Ray is a dope band! I freaking love this jam!

Feel ya bro. The 2000s was my favorite decade. The death of music was in 2009. Some great songs have come ose
I was in kindergarden when this came out

Sugar Ray in my opinion is the epitome of the '90s. As a 13-year-old teenager listening to sugar Ray in the car brings memories that were great in the 90s. Now I listen to him and relive all the feelings I had then and I have now and that's why I like the band sugar Ray The nostalgia

@@JetpacksWasYes2 this is the comment section for "when it's over". Doesn't matter when they peaked. It's implied that the comment is talking about this song in particular not the band in general. This song is not part of the 90s. Plain and simple.

Unbelievable this is from 22 years ago. Back then I would listen to such songs and dream of a life that would be. Now I look back and think that was the life that was. Lesson learned is that the best time is the now. Make the best of it cause the memories you make now dont care about where you would rather be. They will be where they have to be... in the now. Enjoy life my people.

hey but it still works, man! especially since no one else crossed eye-lines with camera. plus, the video is obviously quite meta in a lot of regards anyway, so it's not like doing so ruined some potential "immersive" viewing experience for anyone lol.

Oh my god, that 80's style music video part predicted the nostalgia 90's kids would have for a decade they never experienced.
I was an 80’s kid. It was the best. They were imitating my favourite 80’s band, Duran Duran.

This is one of those songs that I wasn't in love with but it didn't bother me if it was on the radio. And it was always playing on the radio. Lately it's been playing everywhere I go and the part where he sings I'm missing you, just hit a chord with me and I'm feeling a pang of nostalgia thick enough to choke an elephant, I could cry. I say this, because I'm a hard rocker still....I cut my teeth on the Beatles/Stones/Kinks/DC5/etc. etc. etc. Hard rock is still in my soul just as much as when I was 28. Back when Sugar Ray was all over the airwaves, I really didn't pay them any mind. This stuff was always just kind of in the background for a time, and then it faded out. But something made me recently begin checking them out on YTube, and I'll tell you what.....these guys were something very special. This is some DAMN GOOD STUFF. Yeah, I've seen it written by people that admitted that it wasn't really "cool" to admit that you dug Sugar Ray back in the day, and I think it's because they did a lot of tongue-in-cheek stuff in their videos....they weren't "hard core" enough for all the wannabee G's. But don't you hear how good this is now that you're older and don't care who knows it? C'mon....be honest. God Bless us all jbeintucson
