It looks so different to Steelers fans when you have a quarterback who can see the field and make snap decisions and throw the ball where it needs to be and knows when to hold the ball and when to get rid of it
Russ’s haters: “I don’t know what Russ brings to the table besides the deep-ball.” Russ: “Hold my beer!” Russ today? 414 Yards 3 TDs (should’ve been 5!) 1 INT on a bad no-call! 29/38 Passing (76%) 10 different receivers 126.4 Pass Rating (104.3 overall) Used the midfield heavily Threw short, intermediate and long Used different position angles Used varied arm angles Torched the D from the pocket & outside Masterful pre-snap Ran the 2-minute offense to perfection Russ took 2 non-contact sacks for efficiency and clock management but also ran for 20+ yards today, which is a solid rushing performance. The Steelers left 11 points on the board (Pickens cost them 7 points and Tomlin cost them 4), plus had a FG blocked and got robbed for another 7 points by the refs on that pick-6. That’s 21 points the Steelers should’ve had. If they’d handled business and not been robbed by the refs, JF could’ve played the 4th quarter. The score literally should’ve been 65-31. The Steelers were DOMINANT, and it’s because Russ was DOMINANT! Today, Russ was Brady, Manning, and his prime self. Russ is as versatile and dynamic a passer as there is in the league. If he’s holding the ball, it’s because Arthur Smith isn’t doing his job, just like Pete wasn’t doing his job at times in Seattle. Russ can throw any pass and other QB in the league can throw. I think Steelers fans are about to find out just how badly national media disrespected Russ over the years when he was in Seattle, and even in 2023 in Denver. His arm is special. Today’s Russ is the reason KP left. He knew he couldn’t compete with that, and JF can’t either.
Been saying since the off-season that the Steelers have not had this much talent since the 70s. They are young and have play-makers at every position. As soon as Cory Trice gets back on the field they will have 3 shutdown corners that are 6' 4" and run 4.4 40s. We went from 0 shutdown corners to 3 in the last 2 years. Haven't had a great corner since Rod Woodson and now we have 2 possibly 3. Russell Wilson plays like Bradshaw and the offensive and defensive lines will only get better. Even if they don;t get it done this year which would be ahead of schedule. They will be a team to be reckoned with for many years to come. This team has done a fantastic job acquiring talent the last 3 years and they are only going to get better. We haven't even seen their best game yet. The best is yet to come! Have watched every game since the 70s and never thought I would see this team with this much talent again. And this team is more talented than the 2005 and 2008 Super Bowl winners by far.

Against a crappy team. I can't stand how the media fawns over this offense when it wins but then is chicken little after we lose to teams like the cowboys and browns. DCR ... On Point As Usual
2000s had more talent. But Steelers are likely to only get better for a few years with this young bunch.
There isn’t another universe where Justin Fields has that type of command of an offense. That was a QB clinic.
against a 4-8 team...and over 200 of the yards was YAC...but it was a QB clinic because the internet said so...
