Well I mean Metal has done a lot in the games to where its not surprising Sonics not gonna give him a second chance right out of the gate. The first time Sonic sees Metal is the hologram in the past version of Palmtree Panic Act 1 of Sonic CD, Metal is literally pressing his foot against one of the animals Sonic saved in Sonic 1. That along with everything else Metal did like in Heroes or the comics. So its not that shocking Sonic doesn’t want to give him a second chance.
@@austingrierson2660 yeah but in the idw comics sonic give eggman with amnesia a second chance, so is rare for me that this sonic dont give metal a second chance but what you say is correct
@@toybairon9879 I think it is mainly because he had amnesia Sonic knew Eggman wasn’t gonna cause harm, heck the guy even wanted to build an amusement park. Metal doesn’t, so Sonic still sees him as the same Metal and this could all just be an act to launch a surprise attack on them, in his eyes anyway. But you’re right.

I feel like Sonic's reaction to this situation is very justifiable. The others took him in WAY too quickly. As Metal could literally be lying to gain trust for Eggman. Or many other things and as a hero, but more importantly as a friend. He has every right and reason to be extremely cautious to the guy who tried to enslave everyone. I just don't really see that in comments. They think Sonic is gonna go bad for some reason.

I won’t say it’s exactly an out of character sonic but it also is lol Sonic is a firm believer in giving people chances he’s done so with metal before it’s the biggest part of his character that I don’t think really gets talked about much outside of comics
