It just scritches my brain oh so nice the way Lucifer's voice actor kinda growls a few of his words to better emphasize the character's over the top presence and chaotic energy rather than keeping every phrases of the song completely even and melodic. It gives the performance so much personality. Another good example is when he sings the lyric 'I'll rig the game for you because I'm the ref!' It's not as fluid as if he'd perfectly matched the pitch, but it really sells his nervous bravado and petty desperation to one up Alastor and impress Charlie respectively.

I think that Alastor in this one wasn't actually trying to outperform Lucifer here, but was instead trying to get him more willing to do whatever Charlie asked of him by riling him up.
