The 1st place I would look would be the prior year tax return and that would tell me where the person was receiving income from. Then I would go through their checkbook and see if they were paying payments to a life insurance company.

His wife lied to judge and said he had no children I got on plane and proved I was but no one will help me because it's been to long how can I find my dad's assets and trust and house. Her lawyer stole 14.000 from my dad's estate and hid assets. I have Oil checks sitting somewhere for years. Can't find the oil company can you help
Find the land where the oil comes from. Companies will have accounts on court records. But if you are not the beneficiary you cannot touch that money but if you are, she cannot touch the money. If the person had a bank account the checks went too, if your the beneficiary it's yours. If not the spouse is the owner. If she kept this from you that's a form of abuse and you can sue her.
My mom trusted a lawyer who lied in court and got some joe blow cop as a power of attorney. He has kept the trust from me sold my assets and cleared out her bank account. He never told the bank she passed so nothing was frozen.
