The alleged bad actors are my niece the self appointed attorney-in-fact & her now Retired Oklahoma City Police Captain husband.They managed in 2 years to not only move my 86 year old mother off her 2-1/2 acres of 59 years .moved my 86 year old mother to their house for 2 years until my mothers death ,even when I called out there a 1 year before my mother passed and asked them ,my nieces husband if I could see my mother but was given a excuse but not the address where my own mother was being kept at.

The 1st place I would look would be the prior year tax return and that would tell me where the person was receiving income from. Then I would go through their checkbook and see if they were paying payments to a life insurance company.

How about when the heir and personal representative that lived with their mom before and after she passed. Kept up on bills for a few years then fell behind and ended up in foreclose. The entire time the mortgage company was telling to how easy it would be to assume the loan, yet making it impossible. Got approved for financing through another lender because the original one was paying games, yet they denied the money and still sold it at auction. Lost $100,000 in equity that I built up since she passed. Have been reaching out to attorneys for years but can’t find one that knows anything and or is willing to help. I had a bunch of my rights violated as well as not being able to provide fair amounts to heirs. Probate is still open but the investment company that some how used a super lien from hoa to file a lien when I wasnt even behind. It just sat in the back ground for over a year while hoa refused to provide any info of amounts or what and why they were charging me. So after a year ended up owing the hoa a number they just made up and this investment company used it to take possession of my home. About every entity involved broke the fiduciary act and instead of having my best interest they worked together to bennifit themselves for profit. Including getting my home for less that 100,000 of the value. It seems to be a common thing here in the complex, rack up crazy amounts of debt get it sold at auction using our hoa dues to buy then using our dues to fix up these units then rent them for their profit. Should be going towards bennifiting the community instead they use it to push people out of their homes and flip them for their gain. I didn’t see that in the hoa rules. Never served me an eviction notice. I’ve lived here about 8 years and some investment company used a super lien when only an hoa can do that. The hoa send you know nothing but I think they are all working together to steal peoples homes and take everything they own. Not only morally wrong but has to be illegal. Only thing It’s Colorado so liberals run the state. Need help saving my home and the equity I built up fishing and updating the property. Please 🙏

Just sell the house thats all you have to do. Call the realtor agent. Before you do that call the city deeds office. If you name is not on the deed sign up as the Estate administrator. If your name is on the deed call the realtor and take it from there. Thats all you have to do. I don't know whats the issue is i mean, what happens if the person dont have nowhere else to go??? In some cases elder abuse before death may have occured now this abuse may not be in the form of violence but manipulation for financial gain either monetary or in the changing of the will.

Isn't the Probate process the time for debtors to get notified of the death and get access to any assets available so that "mom's" debts are paid? Thanks

FIL's 2nd ex-wife became estate representative. Safe Deposit Box was still had ex wife as POD beneficiary. Along with investments ,IRAs, Life Insurance policies, retirement and veteran benefits. Deceased told everyone he intended to change those and the deed to the house into his name. Final Accounting was approved and probate closed. Paid attorney bef
