How do you know. Have you ever read the original novel - if not, what is the base of standard for comparison. By whose account and standard your 2008 version is the authentic version. The 1983 version has been widely recognized as the classic of all television adaptations to measure up for Mr. Jin Yung's The Legend of The Condor Heroes.
