Hello, Kevin!!
For me the worst stench on earth is that of a dead animal.
Thank you, bro, I really enjoy watching your videos, so keep up the good work!!!
When human beings and animals are dead, that's a "STENCH".
Not only animals.
And yeah, that's the worst stench.
Of course 😁 i like the scent of roses 😅

Is it normal to tell someone:you smell good
Thanks for clearing up the confusion
Recently I noticed I smelled fruity when I sweat. So I bought a mouthwash agent but the odor is still there. Not only didn't it work, but my breath started to stink of cigarettes.
Excellent as usual but the following I heard got me confused 'if I say it smells or something smells it's always bad it's never good', when you were talking about 'smell' as a verb.
I checked in Longman, Youglish and COCA and in all cases the verb was used in both good (smell good/sweet/delicious/fresh) and bad (smell bad/funny/awful) meanings. I probably missed something, or you meant exact 'It/something smells' only.
Let me get this straight Kevin and see if I got it;
"Odor" is like a stench.
"Scent" is like a perfume a lotion or cologne.
- As a verb; You can smell odors or scents and even stenches.
"IT (SOMETHING) SMELLS".
(There's a stench around).
# I Think it's a fixed expression only for bad odors, right Kevin ?.
Thanks for reading my comment.👍.
I was on a bus yesterday and one guy was standing next to me had body odor. It was horrible I could stand it thinking it wasn't as bad as the stench of death
stench of death, so scary.
It's a reminder. He knows how to live a life.
If a scunk could speak he would argue about worst stench on Earth
Is there a logic behind to know when we can't use an article with nouns as in "he has body odor".
It smells = it stinks = it reeks ???
The three phrases "It smells," "It stinks," and "It smells" all relate to smell, but they have different degrees and nuances:
### 1. **Smelly**:
- **Meaning**: This phrase simply says that there is a smell, but it is not known whether the smell is good or bad. The word "smell" can be used for both pleasant and unpleasant odors.
- **Example**: "Smells like flowers." (It smells like flowers.)
- **Undertone**: Neutral, only reports that there is a scent.
### 2. **So stinky**:
- **Meaning**: This phrase has a negative meaning, indicating that there is a very unpleasant or foul smell.
- **For example**: "It smells so bad here!" (It stinks here!)
- **Shades**: Negative, showing strong strength.
### 3. **Smells bad**:
- **Meaning**: "Reeks" also has a negative meaning, indicating that there is a very strong and unpleasant smell, even stronger than "stinks." “Reeks” is often used to describe a particularly strong odor.
- **Example**: "The garbage smells bad." (The pile of garbage smells terrible.)
- **Undertone**: Very negative, strong intensity of unpleasant odor.
### Summarize:
- **"It smells"**: Simply saying that there is a smell, not knowing whether the smell is good or bad.
- **"Smelly"**: Has a foul, unpleasant odor.
- **"It smells"**: It has an extremely strong, very unpleasant smell.
