Thanks for explaining these words which many English learners use incorrectly. I suggest that you do another video explaining some more of such confusing words and phrases that many learners find it difficult to use.
Hello 👋 Kevin! Thank you for yet another great lesson. Your style is very friendly and I like the way you explain things. Much love ♥️from Almaty in Kazakhstan 🇰🇿
I live near a subway station. It's a 2 minute walk, you can get anywhere in the city from there. Just hop on a subway train, they pass by frequently. Especially when it's rush hour and there are traffic jams. During that time of the day the intervals between trains drop down to 1-2 minutes. It's crazy, right?
Mister Kevin hi ,but An Afro American R&B singer Aaliyah who passed in 2002 had a song called “ I care for you” and now After this video I am a little bit confused..ıf you make thinjgs clear for me I’ll be very glad 😊
Close by my house comes directly translating from for example Lithuanian language and saying it in English. Because we say in Lithuanian netoli mano namu yra ligonine. But the thing is the English language is different language and you don't say this. Or again in Russian one can say Не далеко от моего дома находиться больница. And if you translate it and say you will have this incorrect sentence near by my house.
Hi Kevin, hope you're having a good day. What if I use "here" along with "close"? Could I say "there is a store close to here" or " there is a store close here"?
what are differences among an old lady, older lady, young people, younger people , an elderly , youths ? can I call a pretty girl(20+) a beautiful miss?
The correct question is: ARE both right ?. AND. - the hotel is near my house. - the hotel is close TO my house. Both expressions are correct. (you don't use "BY" in this case).

In songs rules are much more flexible. The Beatles sing "she don't care" in the ticket to ride song

a nearby hispital.
= un hospital CERCANO.
Is there a hospital nearby?
Is there a hospital close by?
"I can hear a voice from nearby" - what does that mean??
But I think one could say not far away from my house there is a hospital.
The hotel is near my house
The hotel is close by my house
Is both right?
The correct question is:
ARE both right ?.
