I'm glad that this song cycle got some exposure during the Covid years. This is one of a handful of excellent performances sitting on RUclips from around 2020-21. Does anyone know how many quotations there are in this set of songs? When I first heard them I realised that the last one (Epilog) quoted a jazz standard from the great American songbook. With the help of a friend I've managed to identify it as Cole Porter's "Ev'ry time we say goodbye". However there are a couple of other points in the cycle where I wonder whether Eisler has made other shorter borrowings.
